Bbombf, you're making it way more complicated than it is.
Flash recovery via Odin
Reboot to cwm
Wipe system, factory reset
Mount the device via USB under the.mounts menu in cwm
Copy rom and gapps over to the tab
Install both zips
Reboot
Win

I also have a p3110. But, I'm not sure what you mean by needing an "unsecure boot image" . I just flashed the codeworkx recovery with Odin and that was it. After that you can install busybox and superuser or CM 9.
Everytime I flash cwn the device reboots and removes cwm.
I need a way to avoid that. Thus the need for an unsecure img file for my version of the tablet. The ones I have found were for the gt-p3113 and they do not say if they are compatible or not.

Finaly got it to work. I am officaly an idiot...
Somehow having android version 4.0.3 did not let me flash the recovery from this thread.
But I found one Here that worked.
So now I will flash cm9 and never bother you all again with my silliness

Did u flash anything or just put the tab in download mode?
U can just hold down the power button to reboot.

I've flashed plenty of times using the old CW and now TWRP but those didn't involve Odin. In fact, i haven't used Odin since the first time i rooted the tablet. What is Kies?

Is Kies the only way to get the GTab 2 drivers?
Cant install SP3 and I think Kies requires this for installation

Instructions
- Power your device off
- Boot into Download-Mode by pressing Volume down + Power
- Hit Volume down to accept the warning
- Start Odin
- Choose "GT-P31XX_ClockworkMod-Recovery_X.X.X.X.tar" as PDA
- Connect your Tablet
- Start flashing
Usage
Volume up + Power boots your Tablet into Recovery Mode.
Volume up: Highlight up
Volume down: Highlight down
Power: Select

I'm thinking I'm going to create another Thread and include flash able zips and links to ALL the available Recovery's for our devices so I can keep it updated and others don't have to go searching to find these. I'll leave these here for now tho until I do!
Also, if anyone has any issues with anything, lemme know! I can't personally test the zips for the others devices (p3100 & p3110) but they should work fine! Hopefully this makes it a little easier for people wanting to switch recovery's!5Attached ClockworkMod Recovery with support for external SD card formatted in exFAT, FAT16/32, and ext4 filesystem. This recovery using my exFAT kernel for stock JB ROM, both tested on P3100. exFAT kernel modules loaded and registered successfully to the system but not tested to acces exFAT formatted SD card since too lazy to reformat my SD card (have a big clockworkmod backup).
