Whhooooo!
I was just thinking of using this ROM!
Any major changes for the G1?
Or should I go check the CM changelog?

just changes from cm. i did nothing but build it. it may include some themes that my girlfriend made. crap.. she's going to be mad at me for that. it wasn't finished. have to fix that. taking down the dl link. will re upload later.
here's the link. the old one is gone. if you got lucky and got the one with the theme, please don't share it. its still a work in progress and will possibly be a paid app. distributing it is considered distributing a paid app and you can get banned for it and/or contacted by the fbi. you don't want to go to prison do you? you can keep it, just dont share it.

P.S. she is pissed....
It's ok. It wasn't one of my best themes anyway, and it wasn't finished. I'm thinking about dropping cm7 theme creations for awhile and just building cm9 themes.

But CM7 is so nice on the G1 ;_;
Lol.

I didn't download that one
I haven't downloaded anything yet
I will download this one when I get to a PC

Ok so I tried it.
And it seems a lot faster and smoother than when I last tried it.
Its comparable to donut right now.

Really? I did nothing to it but leak a theme accidentally. And I don't think cm has done anything for the d/s for a while
I didn't even get the one with the theme.
And idk, but it feels smoother

Now I really want to know who got those 31 downloads and if they've checked here since then..
My gf just told me it feels smoother for her too. Guess cm did something to improve it. Still want to make a custom kernel for this with the bfs scheduler...
Does the theme have an online updater or something similar? Have it update to a virus :3
I guess so. You should. Its always good to improve as much as possible

Its just a theme Chooser theme. No updater, and its not finished. doesn't really matter.
I'm thinking of making an optimized cm7 rom. Kernel with responsiveness tweaks, built with the linaro toolchain. And maybe building the rom with linaro. And likely with magpie.
Ok i have no idea what you folks did to get this running, but i cant get this to boot at all. I am currently running cm 7.1 so i don't understand why this wont boot. I have wiped everything numerous times, and installed from zero. I also tried installing from cm 7.1 and wiping just the cache, but its a no go.
Steps:
Wipe if needed
Flash rom
Flash kernel
Flash gapps if wanted/needed
ok, so is this running a different kernel from 7.1, because that would make a lot of sense as to why this wont boot for me. Ill get the kernel an try again, thanks.
PS the reason i didnt think of the kernel is because im currently running cm7.1 and it boots and runs just fine. I thought it would run with the same kernel. Again thanks for the heads up.

Is it the theme I'm thinking of? In that case, I think I may know how to get a copy
