After upgrade to 2.5, I started to have connection issue (3G / wifi switch...).
I found this version much slower than the v2.4 (patched with lights + mounts2sd + kernel 3.2)
I had some troubles with touch screen responsiveness too !

In short, I was disappointed. So... I downgraded.

Data/3g connection issue after Wifi
After installing this latest rom I'm having problems with the wireless data / 3g connection. If the phone is connected to my office or home's wireless network, upon disconnect of that wifi network or if I leave and go out of range, the phone's wireless signal is greyed out and I wireless data/3g does not work until I either restart the phone or turn airplane mode on for a few minutes and back off...

Is anyone having this issue or does anyone know how to fix it?

Hey tytung,

So I am coming from your 3.2a Gingerbread rom on my cousin's phone here. I have fully wiped everything, and install your rom in recovery to NAND. It boots to the "ANDROID" boot animation, and just sits there forever.

Logcat shows that this just keeps repeating over and over. Any ideas?

The answers that I read earlier in this threat about this question is always about the system partition size. Do you have at least 170 mb..., see 1st post.

For those who have problems with mobile data or those can't turn on the mobile data after wi-fi connection:

Edit build.prop using root explorer and remove skipbrokendatacall from ro.telephony.ril.v3 and restart your phone.
For example,
Change to ro.telephony.ril.v3=signalstrength,singlepdp

It may fix your issue. I am from India and I had the same issue. I edited build.prop and now the mobile data is working absolutely fine.

@Tytung,
I am not a dev (and I am a noob to be precise) but I would like to know one thing. Adding those lines to build.prop might have fixed issue for some carriers. But is there any possibility that it could make mobile data unatable/non-usable for other carriers?

I'm in same boat like you, noob, but i have noticed having flashed back to v2.4 i compared the build.prop of v2.4 and v2.5 and the skipbrokendatacall was the only difference. I'm not 100% certain as to where else in the rom that build.prop would be used, but if this was used in v2.4 i can't see it being an issue. but then again what do i know
