I have the new update nearly ready.

Part of the delay is that TI is updating their version of the android source on a daily basis. So, I'm hoping to do a build that we have never seen before.

One based about 95% on omapzoom/TI sources for Android. This would include a ton of enhancements for OMAP only devices.

I'm currently on jandycane. Its pretty slick. And yeah, it has a setting that allows you to change it also.

Sorry for sounding n00bish here, but what will the OMAP changes bring to the table in plain English? Like better battery life, working charger driver, what?

It may bring better battery life and performance improvements but the charger driver issues needs lot more dev work.

yep, worked out for me too. i let it charge for about a day (without any led indication) and it booted...

my led light works with no problem i have to plug it in twice for it to register that its charging and it will charge prefectly

Yes. That's a CM9 ROM so you need to wipe data.
