Ohh yeah, I remember now. That option was checked while pasting edited file. Otherwise changes wouldn't take a place.
In few minutes I'm trying one more time but more less I will do the same what I did before because I don't know exactly what I did wrong

I don't know either... I always just replace the file and reboot... Then it's done.

C:\sdswap>adb shell
$ su

# mount -o remount rw /system
mount -o remount rw /system

C:\sdswap>adb push C:\sdswap\vold.fstab /system/etc

C:\sdswap>adb shell

Big thanks @nickargas for bring this here. I didn't get it at first, but later I seek for adb and found another thread of card swaping, the original one for i9003 froyo and there was a lot of information.
Anyway, after successful swaping the vold file, I ended up with no cards available again. It turned out the vold file taken from this thread didn't match my 2.3.6 rom. I did some changes though and it successfuly swaped my cards If there's a need I can provide the updated file here.

Regards,
Robert

Tough the gingerbread version is a little bit different.

Before using this modified vold.fstab, i use the file for froyo, and i was unable to connect using usb storage mode at gingerbread. But now using this modified file, i'm able to connect using usb storage mode, flawlessly.

Here's the code:

Code:
## Vold 2.0 Generic fstab
## - San Mehat ([email protected])
##

#######################
## Regular device mount
##
## Format: dev_mount <label> <mount_point> <part> <sysfs_path1...>
## label - Label for the volume
## mount_point - Where the volume will be mounted
## part - Partition # (1 based), or 'auto' for first usable partition.
## <sysfs_path> - List of sysfs paths to source devices
######################

# internal sdcard
{
	ums_path = /sys/devices/platform/usb_mass_storage/lun0/file
	asec = enable
	mbr_policy = overwrite
}
dev_mount sdcard1 /mnt/sdcard/external_sd 1 /devices/platform/mmci-omap-hs.1/mmc_host/mmc0

# externel sdcard
{
	ums_path = /sys/devices/platform/usb_mass_storage/lun1/file
	asec = disable
	discard = enable
	mbr_policy = skip
}
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard 1 /devices/platform/mmci-omap-hs.0/mmc_host/mmc1
#end line ## keep this line

And here's the file
Attachment 643784

Remember that i'm not responsible for everything caused by this file.
And if you like it, just press thanks.

Plzz tell me if it is also working for ddlf2 and also tell how to revert changes
