[ info ]
FOR WINDOWS ONLY
THIS WILL WORK ON BOTH LOCKED AND UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS
ok guys so i was directed to this post:
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=24847709&postcount=18
where the user rasgula has posted a rooting toolkit...
it was slightly difficult to use for some users so i have modified it to make it fully automated with least user interaction also as a bonus it will install busybox too...
for those who dont know this is the well known old "andorid emulator" hack/trick... its surprising that Sony left those permissions on /data partitions... Dan rosenberg has posted lots of research material regarding this kind of hack for other android devices...
Credits for this go to the person who found that this old trik/hack works on Sony's Xperia 2011 ICS firmware!
anyways the rooting toolkit is in the downloads section below
[ requirements ]
- stock ICS firmware 4.1.A.0.562 for your device

follow the steps here.....these are very useful.............
@pushpakjain: man, please don't quote entire large posts
@vetdrchandan:same goes for you!
and about your question, just flash .562 kernel, root it, then flash back .431 kernel. but I doubt you will manage it, since you fail to do it on 4.0.3 after >20posts in Neo section..
I know it's just a batch. I just wanted to know will it work properly if I put SuperSU (renamed to Superuser) instead of Superuser. I know the batch itself will do the job, but just wanted to know will my phone be rooted properly. So I'm glad the answer is yes.Its just a batch file. You can do it yourself after unzipping the content. (either rename supersu files or change names in batch file)
million thnx BRO ROOTED succesfully
