if i remember correctly, gtv has already been rooted. i read this news on Engadget. i will try to find the link.

what about Google TV2?
vizio co star (less then 10 posts, you have to google, sorry)

it seems that the new sony device has the same specs:

Sony NSZ-GS7 (same...)

its a dual core ARM CPU with 3D ability and the vizio is just 99$ including a qwerty-keypad and multitouch tocuhpad IR-Remote. It is incredible! but unfortunately i want to run the "normal" apps like "samba filesharing" to create a NAS server and lastfm and Simfy (a music player app like itunes). So is there any possibility to hack this device to run a rooted Android 4.0 ICS?

GT1 is abandoned by google and sony too...
i guess i'm selling it off ebay... it is just blueray player that's all.

I'm talking about gt1. At least I still can use at blueray player
