In other words: everything working good and smooth... GG mates!!

Sooooooo happy! Thanks to all the developers who have made this tablet the best Christmas present I've received. It just keeps going and going.

I've decided to pause the nightlies at this point. If most people are on 9/4 we can start to see if there's any specific issues affecting all users that might be able to be resolved with the goal being as stable a cm9 release as possible. There isn't much being merged into the cm9 tree upstream so we're not losing anything by building less frequency.

So go ahead and install 9/4, if I see something of significance merged upstream I'll kick off a new public build.

thanks eye.
This gives me a chance to hack in the PBHACK which will bring down the memory usage of SystemUI like I did in JB.
Gonna take some work since it didnt like some of the syntax usage when I attempted the 1st time.
Will try to get to this sometime this week. Have my Grandma coming to town on Sunday, so will be unavail this weekend/next week.

Known issues.
Netflix - Stupid Stupid App. :P - Giving the same error as we are getting in JB, so when we fix one, we will fix the other.

Fruit Ninja - Hangs at the loading screen. - Known issue across several devices.

please, I need your advise.
I still have the AOKP build 40.
Should I update to this latest nightly build?
What are the main differences ?

I was in the same spot (krylon40). Updated yesterday and I 'm loving it. It's a lot smoother (apex launcher) and more stable. Plus mass storage config.

Stability it's not an issue for me.
Also all roms are smooth at beginning, but later not so much.
Did you notice any new characteristics?

Installed the new ROM last night. Doesn't seem to fix the issue between m-Secure and Dropbox so that app is a no go on my NC still. Too bad. Otherwise I'm noticing that the ROM runs pretty much the same as the version I installed a few weeks ago in terms of stability, good but not great.

I always get errors about the clock stopped when the book starts up. Does everyone get this error or am I doing something wrong?

Haven't seen that. Probably time for a full wipe.

In fact, in terms of error reporting in general, please do a clean install of 9/4 to see if that fixes any issues you may be having especially stock app FC/errors. This means in recovery, wipe system and data (factory reset). Then flash the rom and gapps and see if the error is reproducible.

I tried aokp 40 a couple weeks ago for about a day. Just flashed this one last night after a full wipe and already I'm very impressed! Much smoother already and way more stable. I never thought we'd see a build of cm9 good enough for a daily driver on this old beast. Well done gentlemen!
