This is a Cm7 Port for the u8800-51

These are not my pics.
This is My guide.
1. Make an imei backup using 5iromtoolbox.See Gingerbread for backup.
2. Make a total backup using Roadkil's disk image(must be in pinkscreen to make backup). If there is an error, POST it.
3.Format System
4. Wipe Battery Stats/cache/dalvik cache/ in cwm
5.Install it using unofficial cwm 5.5.0.4.
5.Reboot and enjoy.
6. If it is slow, reflash the rom without making a wipe.

There is no section for the u8800-51, basically its the same device with a different hardware version.
By the way, don't flame. It's against xda's fourm rules. If you have a problem with the posts then tell the fourm admin.

Installed this rom exactly as you specified, and phone gets stuck on the boot animation for about 3 minutes, before going black and showing the boot animation again. This process seems to repeat itself infinitely. I let it sit for about 20 minutes just to be sure, but it was still doing it.

Did you make sure you started at the stock 2.2 rom, then upgraded to this, while following the OP directions?

I got this working at one point on my own phone, only issue I had is that the cyanogenmod settings force crashed when I tried to access them.

Edit: I'd honestly wait for CM9 or CM10 to make it's way to our phone models (since Aurora ICS works I am sure those can be ported at some point) and install Aurora ICS after installing modified Gingerbread.

So... u8800-51 is not u8800-pro... it's correct?

They have differnt radios but its prettymuch the same hw.
DO NOT FLASH A PRO STOCK ROM ON THE -51

Try 5.0.2.7 cwm. Move to internal sd since its only compatabile with 5.0

I got it to work with 5.5.0.4, I just had to factory reset, and flash once more

I've only messed around with it a little, this atrix 2 is my daily driver. I had a fc while poking around in the cm settings, but that's all I've come across. I'll play with it more after work.

Edit: After about 5 minutes of the screen being off, the device completely reboots. Also, shortly after every startup, I get 2 fc's for android.process.media.
