Sorry man its been a long day. Just wanted to do something for people that want to retain stock rom and dont like command lines and I think saves time for alot of people.

Tried on my HTC Desire V but both methods failed...

Error: Universal Exploit method has been patched on this firmware!

&

Error: Make sure you have flashed an Insecure 'Boot.img'!

This means you cannot root using this method....

HTC Desire S
S-off /xtc clip/

Steps made by me:

insalled factory ruu ...ICS
hboot changed to: [HBOOT] | 29-05-2012 | 7.00.1002 | Reengineered 2.00.002
installed recovery 4ext in fastboot mode
run Quick Root -- without succes - it's asking for insecure boot.img

I have insecure boot image for desire s ICS and with that it works.
