I have a weird problem that I hope someone can help with. I noticed that since installing the latest version of PA 2.15 that my battery was draining extremely fast. 20% an hour without use. I checked CPU spy and saw it was never going into a deep sleep. I installed BBS to see if I could locate the issue however this has been installed for over 3 hours know and shows noting what so ever. No Kernel Wakelocks, partial wakes locks or anything under the other category. Now i know this is not the case so was wondering if anyone could advise as to why it may not be collecting any data?

I have root. SuperSU shows as rooted.
EDIT: BBS is still not showing stats but my phone has no randomly decided to start deep sleeping. Not sure what the issue was as I could not get any data from BBS. Strange. If i do find the cause I will let you know.

At first I want to thanks Utacka for this great ROM ... so, I have a couple of questions :
1) I flashed the hydra kernel, and it works great but I have a lot battery drain ... has anyone the same issue and want can I do to fix that ?
2) i am running this rom in tablet mode and with old builts , my gmail app was in tablet mode and now its in phone mode ... how can I have gmail or google play store in tablet mode ?

What version of Hydra Kernel. I have just had a similair issue with 5.3STD. I rolled back to 4.3 and it is a lot better however after a full cycle the 5.3 kernel did start to look better.
1. First you have to wipe everything ( Make full wipe). it help me. Now my phone work awesome, During the night eat only 1%. Wifi is on. But i use anidroid kernel, Because regional kernel eat memory.
Safe all your settings before.

i use the 5.3OC kernel but i had the same issue with 4.3bOC .... The battery drains a lot when the screen is on. For exemple i have unplugged my phone since one hour and i have already lost 30% battery with just using xda app .....
Sometimes BBS does nothing until you recharge the phone. Also, you have to give it root privileges: start the app, then tap 'Network States' and superuser (SuperSU) will ask you to grant or refuse.
Probable cause of your massive wakelock is the notorious MediaScanner running rampant, it's a known issue. Once it finished the initial scan it settled down and your Note could fall asleep.
Yes, it's "Download servies" under Media Scanner, it stucks most often, even after storages were scanned, looks like more related to unfinished or stuck data send-receive. Usually it goes away after setting up the rom and making 2-3 reboots. Anyways, I suggest to check "Running apps" from time to time - it can happen. Trying to find communality between the cases, still no go.

I did suspect that it was the media scanner but 8 hours seems a little excessive for it. I have already done the network states part and granted root. I will keep investigating and if I find any 'new' information report it back to the community.
Yes the last update I did (to make it work from either sdcard) broke it... I'm really sorry! Please download it again and flash.
Just as a side note - it now leaves a small debug log in /data/local/99update.log - if you do have further problems, please send me a copy of this file. Thanks.
It is for an application called Pdroid. Search for it for more information, its a very good app

Just followed your instructions. Log file wasn't created and the zip file doesn't contain the configuration file after reboot. Will try another reboot now..
Update : additional reboot and same situation. No log and no configuration file. Let me know if I can help diagnose or test anything.

**** happens! i still getting the disconnect problem and then i have to reenter my pin, i flashed both from OP and still no work, i also flashed my modem to the XXLR1, but when i flashed HYDRACORE, in the info menu of the phone under the kernal-version its saying unavailible? can someone please help me out?

Find any combination you like, scale and project apps, widgets and system components!
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel (same that allows you to scale apps individually and choose their interface). See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.
To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.
