You guys can always port over MTDEV-CM7. Team MTDEV rewrote all the code using cm7.2 stable and have since resolved a lot of issues. Chairshot from Android Forums is the main developer right now on the ROM as I am working on CM9. The source is here if you so choose to build the source

Chairshot has spent lots of time working on cleaning up a lot of the lib files and has since upgrade almost all libs from sharp 2.3.5 gingerbread and or cherry gingerbread. It still has flicker issues, deep sleep on WiFi/bluetooth and also no hdmi. But other than that its very solid. You guys maybe even able to just download it and install it straight out. You may need to replace the boot.img but I don't think so.
