Yes, the current Mali drivers used in the build are almost 2 months older than what's used in the stock Note2 ROMs.
Do you guys use this as your daily driver already?

Yes but be warned the battery is a lot shorter than what you get using stock or perseus kernel.

Not as bad considering this is just the second early development build.
But yeah it's not as good as stock with perseus.

not being a dev myself, i'm always curious as to why battery life is better with some roms than others.
Neither I am. In my understanding is mostly kernel optimization related. For instance some kernels uses different drivers that might takes much more power resource than others, and overall kernel optimization to reduce battery consumption as low as possible.
There's a lot to be done on this kernel as for battery consumption and overall speed and performance. Just give the devs some time..
Also, pretty sure something can be done to optimize battery consumption on the rom itself.
2 days with this and back to Revolution..Samsung apps/S Pen etc just too cool to not be using...(and this is just no faster).
Loooong time CM user... but with the ram, processing power, Nova etc we have now, it's just seen it's day, not to mention boring... (well, for me).

If it's just about S Note, try Memo from Market (click). Pretty cool app, and for other Stylus things, there are lots of apps out there.
If it's about the launcher features and stuff, i kinda get it. That's the one thing why I'm only 99% sure I'll flash cm10 when i get my note
But i guess it should be doable to get this kind of features in CM (or an Trebuchet-based launcher of it's own). Maybe I'll start a project if I got my device

Even though you might have not liked the idea of an AOSP rom for whatever reason, you should have at least thanked the developer for the effort he is putting on, but the fact is that people like you do not ****ing understand the value of respect.

74This is unofficial (yet) experimental CyanogenMod 10 build for Galaxy Note N7100.
It is not a port, but built fully from source using AOSP kernel.
You can find list of confirmed and expected bugs below.
Please, report about any problems you will find.
Any things not listed below should work fine.

- Camera: can behave badly sometimes for some of you
- Some possible audio/mic bugs, more testing needed (works overall)

Is a 5.4ghz needed on an i5-2500k? Is 1.4ghz overclock needed on 2x nVidia 660ti NEEDED? No, its not. It's what I like to do, to get the most stable performance out of my hardware. Yes, it's smooth and fast at stock - however getting more performance is always a bonus dont you think?

Hahaha that's what i like to hear (i am an OCer on desktops - daily my 2500K is @4.5Ghz under watercooling and 5Ghz when benchmarking)
Anyway, NEAK is finally finished for Note2 (both sammy and aosp), just need another few days to finish my new app and then i will release it (weekend for sure).6
Well stick with them for now, maybe update the r3p0 from the Note2 sources (if there are any changes) :laugh:
Just for compatibility with the smdk4x12 kernel tree...otherwise i prefer r2p4 because of the official mali libs from sammy note2 sources (well try both and see which one goes better)
I'm going to release my kernel in 2 days max for sammy and aosp btw :good:
