Just to make sure it's not just me - is anyone else experiencing 1080p hardware decoding is not as smooth as TW roms? seems to be dropping frames.
I guess you're not alone. Also 2D is a bit laggy as well.
Hopefully it will be better once we will have the latest Samsung Mali driver merged.

Do you guys use this as your daily driver already?

Yes but be warned the battery is a lot shorter than what you get using stock or perseus kernel.

Not as bad considering this is just the second early development build.
But yeah it's not as good as stock with perseus.
not being a dev myself, i'm always curious as to why battery life is better with some roms than others.
2 days with this and back to Revolution..Samsung apps/S Pen etc just too cool to not be using...(and this is just no faster).
Loooong time CM user... but with the ram, processing power, Nova etc we have now, it's just seen it's day, not to mention boring... (well, for me).

Bug. Headset mic doesn't seem to work as it still uses the mic on the phone.

- Make sure you run CWM or TWRP recovery. Follow instructions in the specific threads on XDA.
- Download the zip
- Download Gapps
- Install the update zip from recovery
- Install gapps
- WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
Sorry for my noob question:
Do we really have to use "update" instead of "install zip from sd"?
Don't know if this makes any difference tho
Thats bad because my bt headset is dead and im unable to check but ill try to fix it.

I am being serious.
Is a 5.4ghz needed on an i5-2500k? Is 1.4ghz overclock needed on 2x nVidia 660ti NEEDED? No, its not. It's what I like to do, to get the most stable performance out of my hardware. Yes, it's smooth and fast at stock - however getting more performance is always a bonus dont you think?
You asked the question and I happily obliged by answering

I still haven't merged mali drivers from note ii, was hoping to do that soon.
