A well patched 2.6 kernel, and with some drivers ported on it should do the work. As for 3.0 kernel... i think texasice is going towards it, but just look how much time he is spending on it and we still dont have a 3.0 kernel, so its not an easy job at all, and it takes a lot of time, there are many drivers that need to be ported. @dark knight - That is not the problem. @humzaahmed Thats an old kernel, a year old actually, we wouldnt be getting anywere with that.

New version coming up on friday when i get home, new kernel for more speed, some tweaks. Found a tool for boot.img...maybe it will help...we will see.

Man... All I need is WiFi to work then I could use it as a daily driver

Have you considered porting a sense 3.6 rom?

I am using the new version but apps can't read the sd card: gallery says there is no sd card and music app says that phone is connected to pc as USB mass storage while I am not connected. :confused:

Is it only me?

The team is me... it would be great if someone wanted help, but there is no one willing from the devs. I will look in to that bug, and i will try to compile a 3.0 kernel tonight and modules for wifi...just finished downloading tools for compiling.
