Without true devs we're lost. It involves a lot of hacking due to proprietary stuff, that ain't easy. We probably lost the best dev out there for our Pico. :(

You all are crybabies. What happened if a dev left??!! You should try to learn from the leftover devs so that you could replace the left ones. Dont be dependant on someone, after the main devs leave, ur phone will die.. So its time to load your guns and help in development.

Ps this is not a sobbing thread.

Question- What advantages will 3.x bring over 2.6.38 kernel? Will it make my porn load faster?
    Answer-No,it wont bring any magic,but

Easier updating the kernel to add security and performance boosts from mainline Linux kernels
More support for new versions of Android
Android 4.0 was built upon Linux Kernel 3.0.x and therefore expects kernel 3.0s APIs
    Faster, more secure system
    Because it's just better

    [UPDATE]

Good news guys, I fixed the partition mounting problem :)

The problem was missing NAND Controller driver.

Now the most exciting part is that kernel got past HTC splash screen and I can see the AOKP bootanimation  ... But just before showing the home screen, phone restarts ..

Well, guys we are very close to getting a working 3.x kernel :)

Thanks to the XDA developer 'zeroprobe' for providing overclocked acpuclock-7201.c file for Desire C. I ported it to work with our Explorer :)
