3. When done , press power & volume up ( the one apart from power button ) until the Samsung logo appears, then leave both buttons.
4. CWM will appear.
5. Choose "Reboot System now "
6. You will get a new screen with an option mentioning something like " disable bla bla bla " ( can`t remember the exact words ) , press it & reboot.
7. Now if you get back to pressing power & volume up you will have a permanent CWM.

Then you can install root through CWM.

After getting Cwm recovery with the above steps, if i." reboot system" now, i can only get back to stock recovery. Any ideas. Root still remains.

Thanks.

On this Recovery there are some special options. This are for what, please?

On Backup and Restore:
- free unused backup data
- chose backup format
- delete from external sdcard
- create image zip.

Thanks

This recovery has a new feature that allows incremental backups. Files are not stores in a few large tarballs but instead put in a big blob folder. When a backup is deleted, it is just like your standard file system where only references are removed, not the actual data. However the unereferenced data is still present, and may need to be cleaned up or your backup folder will endlessly grow each time you make a new backup.

So for your queries,
- remove unreferenced data after having removed a backup
- switch between tar and incremental formats
- delete a backup done on ext sd
- create a flashable zip based on your current rom

Thank You. Is very interesting this.
BTW, I prefer tar format for copy backups to pc when I need. On dup format I can't.

Use goomanager from the market and download the default Twrp recovery. It solves all this.... The CWM here is buggy.
