Changes you can make during Aroma installation:

If you can't download/install MIUI theme, please make sure that you have XIAOMI account, and you're logged in click

Installer was made with Aroma Installer and support install on Sony Ericsson phones: ARC / ARC S / NEO / NEO V / NEO L / RAY / PRO / PLAY, choose patches that you want to install, apps, GAPPS, keyboards.

how long is the boot time? cause it's either still booting, or i bricked my phone.

Stock kernel

i followed these steps

the ones he posted. I just didn't flash .587 fw. I essentially started from step 3.
I didn't flash because I didn't think we could flash neo fw. Is that my mistake?

Ur Boot loader is locked? Then I'm not sure. But this is CM9 based and I dun think a cm kernel can be flashed onto locked bootloader. I belive this is for locked bootloader only. As I can't fastboot a Kernel when u have a locked bootloader.

As PLAY doesn't have official ICS ROM, so I'm really not sure is it possible to load Locked boot version, as GB kernel didn't works with ICS ROM.
I've place Locked boot version here to make sure if it possible as I don't have PLAY device and can't check by my self.

I can say how to boot and work with MIUIv4 with locked boot without unlocking process, but it's a little bit complicated and need PC for every phone reboot. If you're interesting, I can say.

Nope not possible to load at all to do it on a unlocked bootloader unless u count the fact that we could flash a neo l ics firmware which would have inverted camera and not working gamepad. After that u can install recovery and restore the rom. Currently only gb can do this as we can use stock gb kernel from official. 62 ftf.

Lost me Lol sorry. My wife's phone is r800at w/ locked BL. Are u saying use flash tool to flash a neo l ICS stock image to her play. Then Install CWM and then restore miuiv4 backup from link in op to the play? Her camera is busted so I dont care about that. She doesn't game so touch pads not working is OK to.

I really wanna just get the Xbox smartglass app working. It needs 4.0 or higher to work. I am willing to mess with this and test to get miuiv4 working.

Hi guy,
You build a miui v2 with cm7 base, that's great.but why dont you try with stock sony gb base in order to have a maximum gaming compaibility (touchpad).
A true MIUI for hard gaming... please....
What is the difference with dan's ics miui V4, look's similar, no?
and what do you mean by "Use Install for Locked boot option in ROM setup if your use kernel without Init.d support, and for Unlocked boot if it support",
how can I know if my kernel support init.d or not ( chinese for me buddy...)

not imposible because miui gb is based only CM7

Really like miui GB but in every Rom bluetooth and touchpads don't work.

I'm never use MIUIaustralia.
This is based on off release MIUIv4 for ARC S
As far I know MIUIaustralia get NEO L rom as base.
Everything else must be the same.
