cannot unlock via htc-dev anymore. any ideas how to unlock? i thought this guide doesn't actually unlock and you still need htc-dev which doesn't work anymore

Do
fastboot getvar cid

If its not 11111111 then you didn't do the exploit.

I know a while back jcase said on his twitter that another unlock/root method was being worked on. Any more info on this or is what we have now pretty much final?

He is keeping the other unlock method to himself just in case Verizon and/or HTC close the current exploit in an update.

Finally mustered up enough courage to go through with this exploit and....... It worked perfectly! Just wanted to drop a quick thanks for all the work that was put into making this happen
