If you look at it real close it flashes back and forth between dl icon gps lock on, its been that way for a long time its ok it will alright I am sure you can live with it thanks

Living with it isn't the point..I'm just mentioning it just in case someone needed to know...I'm new to this phone so I don't know the quirks yet in the custom themes.

Ok won't tell anyone how to remove the branding anymore. I just posted it cause people keep asking lol. Your right though, should leave that to gyrene to say.

Sideous this is the second time you come into my thread telling people how to remove something from the ROM. As you see above from the moderator Venum he has mentioned already not to give advice on how to do this. I am not for reporting people, and in fact I didn't even know my thread was closed until one of my guys told me just now....You are welcome to post on the thread, but NOT to tell people how to remove anything. As Venum the moderator said it's rude, if it troubles you this much, make your own ROM and make it how YOU see fit and RELEASE it on your own THREAD.....

Now for a side note to the whole Virtue thing being such a big issue for everyone, I am contemplating a few things I can do to appease a few people. But of all the Roms that are out and themed, we decided to do this one thing to make it ours....and leave all the mods to YOU the user to change........

This rom rocks I wouldn't do anything to it rememeber we can't make everyone happy and it is a brand that's the way thing are people have to deal with it or move on. It unique fast and smooth and very well put together and many people have a clue of the endless hours that goes in this master piece. We just have to be happy and lucky to have such greatness I am very lucky and so appreciate the hard work thanks so much...

Come on people... Gyrene has put more work and time into this than anyone gives him credit for. I worked with him for WEEKS to get a installer setup for macksrom and long story short it ended up being being somewhat for nothing... This rom was created BY GYRENE, who ever says its a ripoff of mackrom needs to seriously look at themselves in the mirror and ask who is the one that is being "rude" to put it lightly. As for removal of things LET THE OP decide that. Jellybomb (josh) had requests by a lot of people to get rid of some of the logos (which where EVERYWHERE) and he eventually broke down and made a flashable zip to get rid of them.... That is like taking coke or pepsis logo and spitting on it. The logos are what make the rom different (on top of many other things) and in the case of this rom having the top logo say VIRTUE really is NOT that big of a deal... Disrespectful and inconsiderate...

I already said I wouldn't say how to do it after mack posted. Before they cleaned up the thread.

I never said how to remove anything besides the virtue thing.

I only had mentioned it before cause people kept asking and I had asked and no one replied about it. I found out how to do it o my own and posted for the others who had asked. Then I was told afterwards that they didn't want people to be able to remove virtue.

Either way I left this rom cause of the bugs so it's no biggie. Good luck with it.

Maybe I am just blind but I can't seem to find the Voicemail App?


Edit: Nevermind I think I found it. Is it now called the Google Voice App?

Yes, if your Google voice number or integrated Sprint number setup correctly.

If you're inquiring about the stock voicemail app, it's "Visual voicemail" in the apps section of the installer.

Okay, so I removed Google Voice through TB and rebooted to recovery. After installing just the Visual Voicemail App and rebooting, I can't get Voicemail to show up under my Apps. Can anyone help? I really need my voicemail for work.

Wow I was at work and a lot went on today.... SIMPLY PUT LIKE K ROCK SAID..... IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT MAKE YOUR OWN.... GYRENE AND MACK HAVE BUSTED THEIR ASSES TO MAK IT WHAT IT IS.... Rant over sorry but I'm tired of the bashing and complaints.... I have also added a little bit to this rom and now as part of the team I will only add way more!!!!! People we do this for free and may get some donations but we are only trying to make this bad ass phone better for us all to enjoy!!!!

    Hello guys,

    I know it's been a while but right now I am on a break, as there really isn't anything worth me doing at this point. The ROM is, to me ok. I am waiting for 4.2.2 to come out. I have seen some leaks, but I want to wait for an official version before I buckle down and start something.

    Some of you have asked what is going to be in the next version, I really can't answer that, as I am not sure in the direction I want to go, aside from that I need to sit down with Chaz, and see where we are going with this. He is the lead dev on this ROM.

    Anyways, the following is some instructions on how to stop that pesky MC2 update from popping up. I have tested it for 3 days with no problems, I hope it works for you all;

    1. Use ES File Manager or ROOT Explorer, and go into your system and turn mount from r/w to r/o.
    2. Find build.prop and rename it to build.bak.
    3. Download this file - build.prop save it to your sdcard.
    4. Copy the build.prop file you downloaded over to your system folder.
    5. Set permission to Read All 3 checked and write with owner checked or w-r-r-r
    6. Reboot and you should be good to go.

    If by chance you still have the problem look in your cache folder located /Device/cache folder and delete the update file from there. Personally I didn't have to do this step as the Update never downloaded. I wish you all luck, and to my fellow Marines, and servicemen and women, thank you all for your service.     Directions to Install

    1. Ensure you make a backup.

    2. Reboot into TWRP

    3. Nandroid Backup, Wipe Cache 3x's, Wipe Davlick Cache 3x's, Wipe System 3x's, and don't forget to do a Factory Reset.

    4. Select Custom Install, select your apps, mods you like. The ROM has already been installed with a Theme by default. It's the Fleur.
    So, there is no need to install it again. (We have found that doing the custom install first then coming back and selecting mods will less likely cause problems) That should help with some of the mods not sticking. Also, Please do not select SilkUI or Stock Pulldown options at the same time.

    5. Reboot Let it stabilize for about 10 minutes.

    6. Enjoy.

    Now for all of you who have followed me on this journey, I want to thank you all. You may ask why it took so long to put out, well MA7 was just a beast, and I wasn't going to put out a semi-functional product. Is the ROM perfect, no, but to me and the guys it's 98 percent perfect, and that's damn good enough for me.

    I also have something else I want to add. I will no longer be heading this project, I have turned over this project to Chaz187 as the lead, and Skripka will continue to do his Monster Testing trying to break things. I will be behind the scenes, if Chaz187 needs me.

    I have gotten accepted to TeAm VeNuM and look forward to starting some new projects, and learning some new things from the guys, and although I will be doing projects with VeNuM, Team Veritas, and Virtue, will always be near and dear to me. They are a great group of guys, and I will always be there when they need me.

    No embarrassment, so ill explain why I left. I used an aroma script I did'nt build and I didnt ask permission to use it on my latest build which I thought wouldnt be a big deal since we're on the same team cause they were working on a better script and they were going to trash the one I used so I thought it would be alright, they were going to trash it anyway right "one mans trash and is another mans treasure" :p. So the guys got upset and so did I. I didnt ask gyrene cause I didnt want to bother him cause of his situation but all in all ill be back just starting over. Gyrene is still My boy, nobody's fault but mines shouldve just asked.
