PIN lock screen glitch

I am running Omega and so far it is working very well. I use the PIN lock screen and there seems to be a glitch at the bottom where the Emergency Call button is supposed to be there are just the letters Em stacked on top of each other.

That's something I have never ever tested lol... It still works correctly tho, right?

Just so you guys know, I only included the Galaxy Sense clock widget for you guys... It's not on the Shift version... My way of saying thank you for enduring all the testing and status 6 and 7 errors. You guys rock!:thumbup:

Chrome works like crap on JB, at least on lower end devices... Use the stock browser

I've recently began using Boat Browser. It's very fast and feature rich. The only thing I wish it had were a plugin for syncing browser tabs and history from other versions of Chrome that I'm signed into, like Chrome has.

If I recall correctly the stock browser does.. If not, download Chrome to Phone from the Play Store.

I don't think that the processor speed chooser is working correctly.

I was noticing some slowdowns here and there so I upped the top processor speed and reboot. The graphic glitch went away after that and so far the slowdowns seem to be much less noticeable.

Did you turn Seeder and RAM Manager on? There is all kinds of stuff to play with to tweak your ROM the way you want. Check out the included apps. Remember to download the rescue package first when using Pimp My ROM. Explore the ROM and you will find all the tools you need.

Every time I tweak something in pimp my rom and rebot. It sends it into a boot loop and the only way I found to clear it is to reflash the ROM.. I noticed the same on the CPU tuner it won't let me adjust it in the settings only in the kernel tuner will work..

I believe the stock browser syncs bookmarks, but not tabs. Not really a big fan of the default browser either, but thanks for the idea. Thought about Chrome to Phone, since I've used it in the past, but it doesn't offer seamless syncing of everything that syncs to Chrome on Android. I think it only allows sending webpages from your computer's Chrome to your phone, on demand.

Bookmarks are the only thing I wanna sync lol, when you go beyond that it gets ridiculous... Your browser only has 6 MB of cache, better to use it for other things...
At least on devices like the EVO and Shift. Now on my new SGS2 I have 13GB of free internal memory.

So far you and one other person are the only ones to mention this bug. Can one of you post a logcat?

    This is a port of my ROM on the Shift, this community has given so much to me that I felt the need to give back. It is the most stable JB ROM we have and hopefully it will be pretty stable on the EVO too. I DON'T HAVE AN EVO!!!! So I will try my best to fix bugs but don't expect much. And I don't know if there will be any updates but probably at least one.

    > Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue

    Most of Graphic Glitches are Gone. Even though some users are experiencing them. Follow the Steps below to avoid these Graphic Glitches.

    Use ROM Toolbox or any other build.prop editor to change the below values in the build.prop or add lines in the build.prop.

    Make sure---> debug.composition.type=gpu

    Make sure---> debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=2

    If you don't have them, add them at the bottom of your build.prop. If you have to change the values or add lines, reboot afterward.

    > Instagram Problem

    After applying the Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue Solution do the Following also.

    ->Enable Developer Options
    -> Put tick mark to Disable HW overlays. (This gets disable on every reboot. Enable it again)
    -> Put tick mark to Force GPU rendering.
    -> Put tick mark to Don't Keep Activities.

    So.... uh.... this just happened

    OP updated with JellyBelly v5: Lagfree Edition... ENJOY!!! Just for the record I am going to leave Alpha in the title of the thread simply because I don't own this device and there is no way for me to test anything... However I built this ROM from an EVO 4G ROM and you don't need to worry about it not working but do please inform me of any bugs and I will do my best to get them resolved. Thanks for using my ROM, I hope you enjoy it (I think you will).
