The only problem I have is when I hit my contact photo, it FCs. Though I think this is a known problem, because of how its suppose to lead to the Contacts app.

Nutzy, please try again. I've corrected 3 errors in my updater. This should resolve everyone's issues. I will be working on all 36 versions to clean up MMS issues and theming problems. Also adding Quick Reply and Quick Emoji to TW soon!

I installed it on darthstalker on the first version you uploaded (within about 2 hours of your first upload) with no issues. Pretty much everything worked fine. Emojis don't come out on my wifes sph-l710 when I send them to her though. She is running darthstalker with the mms.apk from cbass. Emoji support is enabled on both sides btw. Perfect other than that. Thanks!

Edit: Oh, and by "don't come out" I mean that they get sent, but they appear as these... ������

Question... On a rom like GalaxyMOD which has been altered to allow aosp messaging... do we still use the two version or the other version?

If you're running TouchWiz, you run the TouchWiz version.

This is amazing. Everything works on my s3 cm10. I dont see quick emoji though which is why i decided to install. is it seperate from emoji support in settings?

Edit: NVM found it :) epic mms.apk my friend. Would you mind making this in all stock theme with all your features though? Another adjustment you could make is that if you open any black screen like your call log or settings in AOSP you will notice the background is not actually black. Its black and fades down to a very dark blue tint. That would match the rest of AOSP better.

This is just an inverted Mms.apk with a few tweaks. Doing what you're referring to would require a gradient, which is too easy, but this is just inversion using modified transparencies, alpha and hex values, and icons. This project will soon be taken over by someone else while I work on creating the kind of app you're referring to.

Thanks for the response. I am familiar with decompiling and smali edits but I would have no idea how to make a quick emoji button work. Would you mind if I have a gander at your decompiled apk and try to combine it with the teamBAKED MMS.apk they made with gradient? What is the gradient image named?

    Hey everybody. They say I'm going to make it. They thought I had brain damage but as it turns out I'm just really weird. My laptop is still underwater somewhere so give me a while to get a new one and get my github cloned and I'll be back to work on a new Messaging app and finish off that rom.

    For no reason? Help me help you or better yet help yourself. How can I troubleshoot your situation not knowing what version you flashed, what rom you're on, what version of android you're running, and how you installed it? I made a very simple flashable zip that I WROTE so I know how it works and it doesn't delete any icons. I'm not a developer, this isn't my job. I made this app work the way I wanted it to work and thought I would share it just to see if other people might want to run it too and all I have is people like you that won't shut up and be happy with what you've been given. If you don't like it then you're more than welcome to flash something else, as a matter of fact I insist that you do. This isn't my job, I don't get paid, I don't get college credit. This isn't the Play Store, I'm not a company, this isn't a product. This is free! There aren't even ads! I posted this to be nice. If you have a problem then keep it to yourself until you've got your own thread running with your far superior messaging app.

    By all means, help yourself. I'm currently working on a Mms app like Misty_Meow's user themeable, quick reply, quick emoji, group messaging. Just an all around smoother user experience once setup. PM me if you want what I have so far.
