I'm very happy with this release for the moment, I think MDJ has done an excellent job.

After 2 days of use I'm not sure there's much I would change.

I'm curious about the base of the X920d release, I can't seem to find much information on this. Is it a pre-release or does this version exist in the wild?

Very happy with this ROM, 15 and a half hours after a full charge with some twitter, email, SMS, whatsapp, google+ and some light web browsing, still 65% remaining. Pretty normal work day for me, I think that's epic.

On top of that it's fast. Now I really can't wait (hopefully) for the next release when we see some updates from HTC.

Thanks again MDJ for all your hard work!

Can anyone help me get this rom working on ATT, I do not have the option to add a APN, It gives me an error when I try to do that.

stock kernel doesnt allow System Write while booted.

Hmm so I'm seeing the occasional weird MMS issue with this ROM.

I'm in AUS and have selected Vodafone AU as the carrier. The APN settings are correct, but when I'm in settings I sometimes see a weird message displayed under mobile data saying that mobile data is disconnected... If I try to send an MMS in this state it fails as expected.

I can fix this by turning wireless off (which then connects mobile data), and when I turn wireless back on I see the following message:

"Use mobile network data plan when Wi-Fi is unavailable"

This is what I would normally expect to see here, I'll try and post a screenshot when it happens again.

Only a small bug for me because all it really affects is MMS when wireless is connected. I don't do a massive amount of MMS as I prefer whatsapp instead :) It appears once I'm not in wireless range this problem corrects itself as described above.

This mod will remove the defaultt SuperUser installed on this rom. No more "update su binary" and your Butterfly got rebooted!

1. SuperUser by ChainsDD (3.2-RC3)

2. Busybox by yangapp (1.20.2r2)

3. Remove boot sound (htc_boot.mp3) for Stock Rom

p/s: You can flash this mod on x920d stock rom :)

please, it's possible add boot sound ? try myself to add the htc_boot.mps by root Explorer in ssystem/customize/resource but failed ...
Can you tell me how to do ? or, if there is a flashable zip ?

Hi,

Just flashed this, but I still have chainfire's SuperSU on the system. Is this patch supposed to remove it?

Now it looks like I have two SU apps...

EDIT: FIXED IT! It looks like I had installed the SuperSU update from the Play Store. Once I removed this app update and ran your patch again it removed SuperSU. Thanks again, great work on this mod!

Sense 5 ROM

By when can we expect a Sense 5 based ROM? Would be great to have that as soon as possible ;). Or could someone please point me to the HTC M7 Firmware leak to get into detail :). Thanks.

    Instructions​
    • Make sure your device is unlocked and you have CWM/TWRP installed (see this thread for help and a handy tool to do that)
    • Shut down the device
    • Hold both the Power-button and the Volume-down button until the splash screen appears and some white text in the left top corner is visible
    • Release both buttons and press the Volume-up button
    • The device now boots into your CWM/TWRP recovery
    • Make a backup of your current ROM
    • Inside CWM select "wipe data/factory reset" (optional but highly recommended)
    • Then flash the rom zip as usual
    • Reebot in Fastboot mode and flash boot.img

    Make sure you do a full wipe (aka "wipe data/factory reset" in CWM) before flashing this!!!

    Please note that the ROM needs to settle down after the flash so give it at least 10 minutes after booting to reach the normal speed and smoothness!!!
