I remember when we didn't even have anything significant posted in the Canadian development forums. Grateful for all the work done, and being done. Glad developers picked up this phone. it really needed the attention. Glad good developers picked it up

Comment's like this are going to result in zero work for the AT&T variant. If you can't comment on someone else's work with more class than this, then you probably shouldn't say a thing. Better yet, learn to do the work yourself, then you can put in 100's of hours figuring out how the SW works and then make the changes yourself. I'm certain that you'll be perfect with each and every release that you turn out and not at all offended when some punk gets on xda and tells you that your work is crap.

These guys are doing the work for free. In addition, houstonn doesn't even have an AT&T device to try out the ROM, so he has no chance to test it before it's released.

houstonn, the regulars on here and I'm certain 1,000's of others greatly appreciate he work that you do. Please don't let the asinine comments of 1 or 2 idiots turn you away from developing for AT&T.

Agreed with the above post. I'm one of those "patiently waiting" users. So I haven't posted on these JB ROMs threads really. I haven't done the Nexus 4 conversion or even flashed a JB ROM yet for that matter and even I got really annoyed by that comment.

But don't let assholes like that dude mislead you into thinking the work you guys do isn't appreciated. His *****ing is definitely in the minority here. Believe me, you guys are definitely loved by the rest of us haha

Keep doing your thing and ignore guys like that. And thanks for all your hard work! :thumbup:

Well not everyone knows that calling people's work different things is not polite, so in the future just say that previous version was better or just state what is wrong with the Rom and leave it at that

You guys don't want to offend the dev's or start flame wars as they never end in a good way.

Does anyone running the new version of the AT&T ROM can see the external Sd card through MTP? Couz mine works so far on this jb rom and I don't wanna break it.

I get your point and I'd agree that some of the comments that people have interpreted as negative may be a nuance that the person making the comment didn't understand. That said, there's no "misunderstanding" when it comes to interpreting the use of "crap" or "crappy" as a derogatory comment and an insult to the person who did the work.

houstonn says this is a completely different ROM. You might be able to get away with dirty flashes between the Intl ROMs that use the same kernel, etc (although, even then houstonn clearly says "no dirty flases", so I'd do a clean flash), but definitely not between ATT v1 nad ATT v2

I keep getting fc in the messaging app. I installed ES file explorer to set the notification sound. So far it works.

I was trying to change the notification sound in the messaging app and when I selected sound I would get the fc on media. I remembered that in a previous version if I installed astro file manager I would get a fc as well but without astro there would be no fc when changing the notification sound.

Also because the file manager onboard doesn't work.

guys help, i just recently started having wifi problem, it keeps saying obtaining ip address.... and then after a while says avoided poor internet connection(while my connection signal says excellent) and ive rebooted it and flashed another rom and still does it. any ideas?
I did change fast domancy last night but wifi has been working great up until this afternoon

Check your router? Such a problem only occurred to me at school with the SGS2. Sometimes it'll automatically fix itself and connect, sometimes it won't.

I'm pretty sure there is a "avoid poor connections" option in the WiFi settings. Make sure its not checked off

I ditch that setting also. I don't know if I receive MMS on WiFi on my Note 2 or this device on WiFi. Maybe they come through when the WiFi is dormant. I wonder if there's a good middle ground. Also, if your battery life took a nosedive I recommend toggling off Google Now when you aren't using it. Just think, it polls your Contacts, Maps, navigation etc and several others. It really spreads out and you may notice increased Android OS if that is the rogue app. BetterBatteryStats will tell the true story. Its free if you search XDA and like 2 or 3 bucks on Google play Market

Same. Check network settings. Data may be off by default... Could be. Sometimes CM10.1 boots like that on my other device

Make sure to also disable latitude auto updating your location. Enabling Google Now turns that on too.

I installed v.3 on my AT&T LGOG, but I am having data issues. As in I have absolutely no data, lol! I am able to make and receive calls/texts, however.
