Yeah that's what I'm doing right now... thanks for the advice!

Back in the day there was a patch on the HTC Hero that let you configure partition sizes for cm7 so you could whittle the system partition to bare minimum and make the data partition larger. Haven't seen anything like that for our epics though.

Oh OK... I didn't know that thanks for the information, I appreciate it!

Yep. In order for us to get CM9+ the devs needed to convert to an open source file system and increase the size of the system partition. In doing so, space was reallocated from data. And as was said above, I think there is more data kept on the data partition with the 4.0+ ROMs. As far as making more room on the system partition to shrink it's size, I think it's about as small as it can be. Try adding any file of moderate size to system, and you'll find there isn't any room. I believe they even had to make it slightly larger after 10 to allow for 10.1.

I assume the 4.2.1 gapps are still what we use.

New Build, Jellybean 4.4.2
Here you are, a fresh build with the new Jellybean 4.2.2. That said, I don't know if there are any new bugs introduced by the new code changes.

- I have been using my BT headset for a few hours, doing my best to make it fail. So far it has been running very well, although I'm not going to declare it fixed yet. It's still early and I might just be getting lucky.

- I am not yet aware of any new gapps, so keep using the 4.2.1 gapps from goo. I did a dirty flash over my previous 4.2.1 build and haven't noticed any issues yet. YMMV.
