Re: [CM10.1|4.2.1] JellyBeer-v3.57 [DPI Groups] [Feb. 11]

I did the same thing pretty much .... 3.0.4 and 5 both did not boot.......I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 3.0.6 will be use able ...but not sure if its being built or what ... Is just a guess ......just stick with kernel given and maybe try to tinker with some settings to help flicker ... I think disabling overlays in advanced setting might help that but don't quote me on that . I don't think there are any 4.2.2 kernels for download and try at the moment ?

I saw we got the 4aces kernel now based off cm so gonna try it and see what happens.

Has anyone started messing with DPI ? I've had things look to big on phabletui and during stock DPI on some applications. Had to go to 240 just to be able to see the bottom of the screen to confirm setting the pattern lock.

Update: the 4aces kernel seems to fix the flicker almost completely. Will report on the rest as I test later.

Update 2: never mind, the flicker is still there, had to disable hardware overlays.

To get rid of screen flicker, take all three of your animation settings down to .5x. Also check Force GPU Rendering. That SHOULD get rid of your flicker.

I always reduce my animations to .5 but never forced GPU rendering, thanks gonna give or a try! :)

Update: Still get a slight flicker, better result with disabling hardware overlays.
