so just wondering has there been any progress on the RIL and getting wifi/data working on this?
Short answer. Yes.
Long answer, read the thread.

It will be sometime tomorrow (err today) before I get another build out. I'm working on bionic files at the moment (something I didn't touch for CM10). This should clear up a ton of problems.
Its time for sleep. Spent 15 hrs on this today.
Since we have S-OFF now, what does it mean for CM10.1 for DNA project? Will it happen sooner and easier?

All I can say is I know the CM team will not develop for a phone that doesn't have s-off. This is not to say that they will start to develop for our phone. But before s-off they never would have. Now they might choose to.

Jesus Christ. Its not called s-off-agenmod or aosoffp. S-off has Nothing to do with getting aosp on this phone. Cm already boots and is 80% working. The RIL code must be written to direct the modems (which are now working). That's the main kicker. That has nothing to do with s-off. All S-off has to do with is the ability to flash more things/easier. The end.

I don't think he picked up the butterfly, and that had s-off at launch. Doubt he'd come near a cdma/LTE variant.

If cm and aokp hold the same standards at why they wont dev then its because of soff, ril, member getting the devive, and ease of dev. Stated by an aokp member about the dna

Lets remember we are just guys having a conversation. Respect is key.

I'm pretty sure their standards are similar. We most likely won't see a CM team member here. We just have another piece of the puzzle making it a tad more likely.

Respect is fine. But to find answers you gotta read. This is the 1746391728629479 time that's been asked in some fashion and probably the 1746391728629472 time its been answered.

Next time tell them that after s-off they now have Cm11 because s-off timewarps your phone 12 months ahead.
S-off also grants you access to Google's development intranet. It allows you to play with Android Quiche.

..CURRENT BUILD NOTES/HISTORY..
03.24.13: CM10 doesn't include support for csd-client enabled phones (which we need). I have built a work around for it to utilize our csd-client lib; hopefully it brings audio one step closer.
My audio changes can be found at a separate git repo @ https://github.com/drewx2/android_hardware_qcom
03.23.13: Current Audio Status
I have some time to look at things, so here just getting started and thought I would post the first strace for those interested. Looks promising and not too difficult.

There won't be any builds posted until one of the "not working" items has been fixed. I mostly likely will focus on audio this weekend.

Although, I may be working on CM and it may seem like a completely different project, in many ways we all rely on each other to help make the DNA better.
