I need help. I've downloaded and used MultiWindow Complete Control from the android market. I've changed the color to an ugly one just to test it out, and it worked. Only problem is, everytime now I try to enter "Multiwindow Appearance" the app force closes on me. I'm stuck with this ugly appearance and I can't change it because it keeps force closing on me everytime I try to click on that.



Can anybody help me? To at least restore the default appearance of the multiwindow bar? I don't want to re-flash the rom all over again just for that...

A question please, as i want to change the statusbar icon , and boot animation them i found the easiest way to do that using Rom toolbox Pro Application , but to use this functions i should have Deodex ROM .

Currently i am using Odex Stock Rom DLK7 * Poland version ( Play ) : my questions :
> is it possible to use the ROM which you listed on your POST while i am currently using DLK7 offical Stock Odex Rom?
> if yes , is it offical stock ROM with just changing from Odex To Deodex ?
> it will Wipe my all data if once i use it ?

You only have to flash this firmware on your actually rom with Odin and it's all. But it is a France version. Yes, official stock firmware, just rooted and deodexed and no it wouldn't wipe your data if you don't want.

Im not familiar with flashing thats why i dont know what to download regarding framework version. my unit is N7100 4.1.2 ARHD 11.2

AP: N7100XXDMB2
CP: N7100DDDLK6
CSC: N7100OXADLL4

What file do i have to install to have multi window mod? Thanks

You are on the latest build DMB2 and I don't think the mods here can work. Because on the previous build (DMA6), the DLL4 mod which worked on the DLL7 firmware didn't work with it unless you are using a deodexed version. I guess you are using an odexed stock firmware so it will not work.

I did followed your instruction to install deodexed DLL4 i think were on the same firmware and i manage to make multimod work on my n7100 ARHD 11.2

Thanks this is just my first time to install multimod and dont have yet knowledge regarding that framework thing that needs to match our installed firmware. Glad you respond and were on the same arhd so i have someone to follow. Thanks again

Hmmm i installed Multi Window Control and downloaded zip file for my xxdlj2 but when i try to install it (recovery mode of course) it says signature verification failed.
What am I doing wrong?

Are you saying that Simplistic Framework forum has been removed?
If so, do you have a plan to reopen a new one somewhere else.
This is very disappointing as this has been an amazing mod...

Can't you just start a thread exclusively for the framework (which is free)? I mean, a mod like this is exactly the reason why the XDA forums exist, right? Maybe you can offer a free control app with some of the features? Inside that free app you could sell a donate version with all features enabled? I think XDA will allow a construction like that, don't you?

I couldn't agree more with the comments about this excellent mood.

Now it is on sale on the Play store will they allow you to maintain a forum here but with only the free elements available for download?

    The parts of this mod:

    - The Control App: the app which allows you to choose which apps are to be added to the multi window functionality and/or control pre-defined framework-side ones.

    How to use this mod:
    Requirements: A supported base, deodexed, CWM recovery

    - Flash modded framework files corresponding to your firmware
    - Download the apk, move it to your sdcard, and install it normally
    - Use the application, pick your apps
    - Reboot, and then check the MultiWindow Bar
    - Click on edit button on the MultiWindow Bar, and add the new apps to the bar.

    NOTE: The control app works on all firmwares, but you have to choose the right modded framework files for your corresponding firmware.

    Q: Why do I have FlashStatusBar service FC?
    A: Most probably because you have installed a mod (transparent for example), the solution would be to use any root capable file manager, and go to data/data and delete the folder named com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService, reboot then try again.

    Q: Okay, what if I want to install this mod on a supported, but odexed base?
    A: Install the framework files, then use a root capable file manager, and go to /system/app and delete FlashBarService.odex. Then go to /system/framework and delete services.odex as well, and that's it.
    NOTE: I have tried this personally, and it worked for me. But many users are reporting that they are stuck at Samsung logo. So try at your own risk, and make sure to backup.
