Under what category can I find the DPI changer on the paid version?

I just recently purchased it, though I still don't have a clue about where to find it.

simplistic works just DLL4 and above, in short you need 4.1.2 for it, you should update your device if you can, ALJ1 is quite old...
btw, where's your device from I dont know the OJV CSC...

What is DLL4 and those numbers in the title {LL4/7, MA5/6/7, MB2}? Sorry only had my Note 2 for a week or so, so I'm still new to the scene.

If ALJ1 is old, where would I get the latest? I checked samfirmware.com and the latest they have is 4.1.1. I'm from South Africa.

These are firmware versions released for different regions for which SF is compatible with.
If the latest in south africa is alj1 then this the stock firmware released for that region. It is old.
Many custom roms release newer versions that will work for your region. The only difference is the modem version but that is not a big deal as long as network coverage is good.

Thank you.

I tried the odexed 3.5.1 one with my previous DLL7 version which should habe been supported as stated in OP. But it
only resulted in a Bootloop. I just asked just to be sure i did everything right.

I´ll do a nandroid Backup tomorrow an just try it out.

Chris

Try my guide dude...sure it will work.

Only the toggels work on multi dpi dude.
There is no dpi changer in the mod (yet?)
LegendK95 see my PM for multiDpi option's.

So... does anyone?
I bought the SF from the Play Store...

Try this...I love it!

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1930847

Unfortunately the developer isn't supporting the theme anymore. You can flash it, but the theme would feature the previous version of SF. Still is an awesome theme though. Try it out.

Hi LegendK95

Decided to make a suggestion. I really like the feature of showing the current date and day of week but I think it could be done in a more compact way with more options.
Please take a look at the screen shot-in the left you will find the nice combined icon shown by Notification Launcher. It uses less space and shows both the date and the day of week in 1 icon.
Probably you could implement this.
Also there probably could be an option to show the date like 21.12, again to save the space.

Another thing is that it would be very cool to be able to assign icons to the quick lauch bar of SF. Again, this is how it is done in Notification Launcher and JKay settings. Very useful.

Thank you.

PS Got couple of requests to upload the battery from my screen shot - here it is.

I agree too. Or having the choice to change the date format and spacing between the day/date/time. Just saying... :p

Had to write it in Afrikaans, don't get the chance to do write that much in Europe :p

Right, Afrikaans is a mix of Netherlands, Germany, Nordic languages plus a bit of English.
But predominantly Netherlands Dutch.

Just some off topic knowledge for Simplistic Framework users :p

Nice suggestions, but at the time being, I'm focusing on getting the clock working with other fonts (without showing weird symbols).

Now regarding the quick launch panel, you CAN edit the shortcuts and add actions as well, the option is inside "Expanded StatusBar" in Simplistic Control, and you are able to add up to 12 shortcuts.

Are you sure? MultiWindow option unlimited doesn't work....

I wrote " basically"..

MultiWindow control app works, only the built-in shortcut in the SF control app is not showing anymore...

It needs an updated version of the MWC app, not available yet, afaik.

I am talking about ability to change just icon. I chose 12 apps but the icons are of different styles so would be cool to be able to change the icon [picture] of the shortcut (some jpg, png icons).

Another thing, I confirm NFC toggle does not do anything - just shows the current status with no reaction on tap.

And third, please still consider at least shorter options for the date and day of week. It is very useful. Clock font is important though I think this is also important.

And...:) about the signal icons - you used old style icons (wifi, cell) instead of cool modern Sammy ones. Any chance to have them back?

NOTE: My other mod, MultiWindow Complete Control is included in this mod, you only have to install the application.

    Introduction:
You may be asking yourself now, what the heck is this all about?
Well, let me tell you. Simplistic Framework is a compilation of framework mods and hacks for Samsung based ROMs, with each mod FULLY costumizable through a control app (like AOKP).
That being said, most of the mods are coded from scratch by me.
This will literally turn your stock ROM into a very powerful ROM, packing many of the mods you all like, and ones you'll get to like ;)

    Who is this aimed at:
Everybody owning an N7100, on a custom ROM or stock one.
For ROM cooks look at the F.A.Q

Is this free?/How can I get the control app?
Yes and No, some of the mods are pre-enabled for you.
Other mods need the donation control app to enable/control.

    Check here for more information

NOTE: All people who donated to my previous project Multi Window Complete Control will receive this for free!
NOTE2: The Multi Window Complete Control was supposed to be a part of this framework, and only be in the donation version, But I left it out as FULL free and posted it for a bunch of devices, so make sure to check that as well.

    Features:
Enough chitchat for now! It's time for me to convince you, here we go:
Note: Look at the 2nd post for a more detailed features list, and the pre-enabled mods

    • General UI Customizations
    • Full integration with my MultiWindow Complete Control App/Other MultiWindow Hacks
    • Lockscreen options
    • Touchwiz Launcher Customizations
    • Customize Power Menu
    • General Status Bar Customizations
    • Status Bar Clock Options
    • Status Bar Battery Options
    • My fully customizable 28 toggles coded from scratch.
    • Control Hardware Keys
    • A LOT more options and new features!

    Before Installing:
You can use dr.ketan's tool to backup the edited files before installing the framework, so that you can restore the previous state of the device if you have problems.

    Check this great tool here!

Special thanks to dr.ketan, you're awesome buddy.

    F.A.Q
    Q: I'm a developer. Can I integrate this framework into my ROM/Theme?
A: Of course, only you have to not include the control app.

    Q: I'm having conflicts/fcs because of the custom rom/mod I'm using.
A: Most probably this is caused by lidroid's toggles, to fix that just delete lidroid-res.apk from /system/framework and reboot.

Click here for the amazing FAQ guide maintained by My1xT

    V3 -> V3.0.1

    • Next Alarm in Expanded StatusBar, replaces the carrier label whenever there is an alarm. You can also use a toggle to enable entering the clock app when clicking on the alarm view.

What is this? Well basically, you have an apk which I will provide you with, you can add ANY battery you like to it, and then install it as a simple app, choose custom battery from Simplistic Control and Voila! The battery is there!
The apks can work on any Simplistic Framework starting from V3, and this allows to create something I like to call a "Battery Library" where someone can post a thread full of these batteries :)
    • Ability to turn on/off statusbar alarm, bluetooth and sound icons, as well as blocking mode's icon and notification.

    Merry XMAS!

    • Clock 24H/12H fixed.

    Lockscreen options:

Due to the massive amount of people asking for stock arrows, they will be able to be chosen in the next version (they can't be colored tho..), I don't know when the next version will come out, as I'm very busy, and the to-do list is massive, so please no ETAs :p

Cheers everyone and thanks for you support :)

Okay guys, here's a small update:

Things are going great, I've been able to fix some annoying bugs here and there.

I have one thing left to fix which will take a day or two at max (most of the time spent on researching the problem), and then I will port the framework to the new bases, make odexed versions and release.

    Thanks for your patience :)

Oh and the update has only two new features (one of them is the signal indicators chooser, the other is a new toggle which I frequently use now, and I hope you will use it frequently as well), and the remaining things are bug fixes.
