the best of: Total Commander

I think the world's best of file manager is the Total Commander.

My favourite features:
- available FTP plugin
- built-in text editor
- LAN access plugin for shared Windows folders
- WebDAV plugin for streaming media (divx movies, music) from example Windows through wifi

Please let me know if you got better than TCMD :)

The old Astro file manager (which i'm still using) has an inbuilt app manager support, ie when i click on any apk file, it provides an option to "open app manager" ... The advantage is tht, right frm there, i can know which version is currently installed... Latest Astro doesn't have tht option... Does any other file manager has tht option?

Solid Explorer. Just love that thing.

For most of the time I've had my Android I've used ES. However I've moved on to root explorer because it is way easier to use. I don't need any of the extras that come with ES. Even though it's not free like ES, root explorer allows me to get my tasks done in a quicker fashion. Time is money!

I've used Androzip, Astro, and ES.

To be honest, I quit using Astro after it started failing move/copy operations without any reason and corrupting my files. ES is what I currently use, albeit I may switch to the paid version of Androzip. I'd like something with 7z compatibility to be honest.
