Hey there,

I'm having an issue with build 6.

I'm having a "AudioOut_2" wakelock with more than 4h (checked with better battery stats), causing the battery to drain quickly.

Anyone had any problem like this before?

That's what I did already, but i will try one more time and see what happens, thanks anyway for responding

It would be nice to know exactly what did you do. I never had this problem before.
Anyway, make sure you've got the correct Gapps (it would be wise to download the ones suggested in this thread).

As for cleaning, I would suggest the following steps to be followed (all of them are mandatory):

From CWM:

Main menu
  • clear data/factory reset
Main menu -> Advanced menu
  • clear dalvik cache
  • go back to Main menu
Main menu -> Mounts & Storage menu
  • format /system
  • format /sdcard (be careful NOT to format the external_sd)
  • go back to Main menu
Main menu -> install zip from sdcard
  • choose zip from sdcard/ choose zip from external_sdcard (depending on where you have the ROM and Gapps stored)
  • flash the ROM
  • flash Gapps
  • go back to Main menu
Main menu

  • reboot system now

OK, read up and do exactly as instructed.

You installed the Gapps for ICS (as you can see in the file name of your gapps.) This is CM10, meaning JB. So, make sure that this time you download the ones from THIS thread or click on this link.
Also, you didn't go Pristine. Not even close!

So, please, follow the tutorial I posted above and let me know how it goes. :)

Here you go: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2044861. This is what "going Pristine" means.

But in a nutshell, it means to make a really CLEAN install of your new ROM, and one of the most important steps of this method is formatting /system folder. As you can see now, you only removed the dust from your ROM. :))) That was not a clean install.

Looking forward to your reply. :) Good luck, man!

pepoluan made a great effort in this topic "going Pristine" This will be a long procedure and will take sometime, i will need to be focused to make sure I didn't make any stupid mistakes like before, as a result I will do it in the weekend not tomorrow , and still i will update you with the results

That was just for your future reference, so that you can fully understand what "going Pristine" means and how is it done. :)

But you don't need to fully follow that tutorial in order to get your phone working properly. This is why I posted that semi-pristine, but still very efficient, method to get things done. :)

So, if I were you, I would follow arsradu's tutorial (who the hell is that guy anyway, huh? :)) ) from a few posts before and I would make some time these days to at least read the full tutorial posted by pepoluan. Sounds good? :p

And by the way...we all make mistakes. But the most stupid and most common mistake we make...is actually not to make one.

      • Initial release

Before you install CM10: Preparation (First three are optional. If you want to start fresh, these can be skipped)

    1. Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
    2. Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
    3. Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
    4. Boot into CWM5 recovery. Make a full backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
WARNING: Many apps will Force Close crash if you restore data from a previous ROM.

    Install

    1. Use CWM5 or CWM6.
      • Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM10. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone!
    2. Wipe data and cache.
    3. Flash update*.zip.
    4. Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM10 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
    5. Reboot phone.
    6. After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
    7. Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
      • If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
      • It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.
    Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of CM10 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between CM10 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.
