UgKg3 and some other modems are working Now. But Signal is around 10db less than other Samsung phones

what is a good modem for T-Mobile USA 3G in 1900Mhz, I am using CM10 on a Captivate, with stock modem, and can only pickup AT&T 850Mhz

just extract the modem.bin file from the cwm3 zip file and copy it to the /radio folder with a root enabled file manager like x-plore. set permisssions to 755 (owner full access, group and everyone read + execute). then reboot.

or, replace the modem.bin in a recent rom zip that you already flashed and reflash it.

Hi I live in The Bahamas, any idea which modem would be best for me? I have two i897 with constant signal dropping and it take about 30-50secs for a call to start ringing when dialing out. I tried the map method with no luck. our network is BTC on gsm. any advice would be appreciated. KK4, Kk1 & JF6 Have been tried

Update: kk4 works fair enough in The Bahamas
