has anyone noticed that the built in phone call recorder only records 20 seconds then stops recording is this a CM 10 issue or a defy issue

Unfortunately no, however it has weather alerts, I.e. audible tone and notification, also is more accurate than Yahoo weather

I used to use them both at the same for a while because of lockscreen widget but Yahoo wasn't very good for me in NZ

In an earlier post someone claims that video recording looses audio after 20 seconds. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not...

In an earlier post someone claims that video recording looses audio after 20 seconds. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not...

Well, I just double checked, and most, if not all, of the calls I have recorded only last about a few seconds. On the 03/18 build, almost all the videos I've recorded lose audio after 60 seconds. On the other hand, I have some videos recorded last year, most likely on builds prior to December 25th, that are a few minutes long and there is no audio loss.

But as far as I can remember, the built-in recording feature on CM10 has never recorded the full phone call, at least not for me, so I've been using call spy which has given me pretty decent results.

battery issue

hi everybody,

i think it's with some update of february that my battery has this wierd behaviour,

it's charged very fast, and collapse very fast.

i think i'm missing some patch or other stuff,

any suggestions ?

Let the battery drain until the phone powers of by itself.
Then charge it at least another two hours when it says charged to 100%.
Let the battery again drain until the phone powers of by itself.
Charge again a litte longer when reaching the 100%.

That should fix this issue. Otherwise your battery is too old and you should get a new one.

i tried to do this more than one time, but never changed,
i tried also to unplug the charger after the 100% to reset the battery stats, but nothing.

other suggestions ?

the battery discharging collapse 2 times, and while it's charging jump from 4% to 30% and maybe 50% to 70%
it's weird it's like some cells of the battery are ghost

I hope it solves the problem with WiFi driver preventing the phone from going to deep sleep, right? I'll check it as soon as I get home from work.

Head over to the cm10 faq and look for working red lens battd. this works for both green and red lens defy mb525 1500miah battery

CM10-20130409-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip seems to sleep

It looks like mem sleep is successfull now with wifi enabled :good:

It is of course a bit early too say 10 mins with the build

how can I get rid of the darkened area of the picture on incoming call ? it is realy annoying thing

Change your lockscreen wallpaper with your custom ones, when it will show wallpapered background. THis also includes players lkie Apollo or Play music. With custom lockscreen wallpapers it shows no black background.

When I start Wi-Fi ap, phone it's closed and ask me to enter pin again. When I enter the pin data goes on again, but internet connection is not share with the net created. Maybe a bug? Someone else?
