So does it work or not?

Can you enter both recoveries?

I will try this later

there is no such service on the Xperia Z and still white balance app works...

may be something to do with the 10.1.x.x.x framework of Sony Vs 9.1.x.x.x ?

I actually found it on a stock Xperia ZL ramdisk.. I didn't know that Xperia Z had it though..
Anyway i just imported the code and it successfully applied the white balance settings at boot.. Until you power the screen off. Then screen (not the settings) resets to normal if u turn on the screen on again..

No idea how it is fully working on Z without the service, could be in framework.

Attached ZL ramdisk if u need

Attached files with the ported modifications i got it to work with (or i mean partially working as i said)
By the way the files are from Xperia V 9.1.A.1.140 with my mods ofc.

PS. if you're testing check if u have display_color_calib in system/bin first

i already release kernel for the ZL so i know whts there in the ramdisk there

the Z doesnt have that binary and still white balance works...

i will test this out on the T...

P.S.: no such binary present for the T...

contact me via p.m. we will discuss this over gtalk, it will be faster

I think your kernel has the video glitch. Watching a video will cause the phone to start becoming very slow and then you have to take out the battery and restart it to be fine. I'm not a 100% sure on this but I'll test more.
