I never fooled with the Paranoid version but if I remember correctly there is an option in settings that'll show the navigation buttons, I think they're hidden depending on what "mode" your in, I don't think they show up when in "phone" mode.... Good luck dude!

Hey thanks for the info! I found it in the settings menu. Now I have on screen buttons. Only issue now is that I can't turn the tablet off! LOL. It worked initially, but now when I go to the power menu and hit shutdown....it'll ask me if I want to shut down....I tap "OK"....tablet restarts. Sometimes it'll restart directly into recovery. So I always have to keep it on the charger.

Any help??? I searched the thread and didn't find anybody else with that problem, so sorry if there's a solution that I didn't find yet.

BTW,
Already tried to fix permissions, wipe cache/dalvik, powering down from the TWRP reboot menu, but haven't hard reset it yet. Didn't want to in case there's an easier solution. ;)

Try the following: Remove the charger and then shut down the tablet. When it is attached to the charger, then it will reboot all time and you can not shut down it.

Hi Guys !

I have changed my device to a Samsung GT-P5100 tab , so I finished developing for these devices. I would like to say thank you to everybody for the support and for using my roms . I hope you all enjoy my roms even if they are not perfect.
I hope there will be someone who can continue the development.
All my roms will be accessible as well as sources on my github.

Bye , Joe

Thanks for the work Joe,

Honestly i am totally disappointed with Android even with your ROMs therefore i got a IPAD mini and put aside the zte tab.
I still just cannot understand how unimportant was the lack of camera... But, its never gonna work from now.. :(

All the best.

Ok , thanks, that worked. So the only way to charge this device then is to leave it on?

No, you can switch the tablet off before connecting to the charger. This way it will charge without turning on.
What you can't do is switching the tablet off while connected to a charger, because it will automatically reboot.

See the first post. There is the vodafone hu stock rom both for v11(smarttab10) and for v71(smarttab7).
You can install it from cwm or twrp recovery. It restores the tab to the state of first turn on. Dont forget to do the factory reset in recovery when installing the stock rom.
There is no official rom package downloadable from the zte site.

Thank you so much for pointing that out. I don't know why i haven;t seen it. I've looked at that page a couple of times.

I'm from Romania and the tablet is for a friend, who want's to take it back to be fixed under warranty.

I'm downloading now and i will try it.

To start in safe mode :
    Turn off the device .
Turn on the device . When the android figure come up press and hold down the volume down button.
Another possibilty is from shutdown menu. hold down the restart until the restart in safe mode is not coming up.

All of above should be installed from cwm or twrp recovery.Copy the zip files to your internal storage's root folder (mnt/sdcard). How to install cwm recovery is here :CWM recovery installation
If you have problems backing up (hangs while backup) use this cwm recovery:
    7" modified cwm recovery
    10" modified cwm recovery
Important to make a backup in cwm before you install this rom. (in cwm choose backup option, your backup will be stored on internal storage's clockworkmod folder). This case if you wish you can restore your original rom from cwm using restore option .
If your backup is done do a wipe data/factory reset in cwm before installation.
To install choose install zip from sdcard option in cwm recovery and browse to the zip file on your internal storage's root folder.

Vodafone HU SmartTab7 Stock rom recovery package (v03a , installable from cwm)
Vodafone HU SmartTab10 Stock rom recovery package (v03a, installable from cwm)

    TWRP Recovery (Current Release v2.3.1.1):
I have ported the new graphical touch recovery(TWRP) to our device. All credits goes to Teamwin , i just port it to our device . It cannot restore backups made by cwm.

    Download :
    http://goo.im/devs/joestone/twrp
This new version(2.2.2.1) is needed for automatic rom updates through goomanager. The new rom versions will be automatically updateable , but only with twrp .
Also this new version is available to install as a zip from recovery (cwm or twrp) or as previous(img) through fastboot.
The filenames contains the modelcode which it belongs to.
    for example :
V11_TWRP.zip is for smarttab10 and installable from recovery(cwm or twrp).
V71_recovery.img is for smarttab7 and installable from bootloader mode (fastboot) .

    This is the start screen.
    287518_fb01.thumb.jpg

Here you can select wether to use internal or external storage of the tab. If selecting external don't forget to select mount SDCard
    287518_fb02.thumb.jpg

Selecting Install you can browse which file to install. Remember the internal storage accessible under data/media , while external storage is sdcard-ext.
    287518_fb03.thumb.jpg

Backup menu let you create backup of the device including some part of the firmware. If you see 0 MB Free space as on the picture select refresh sizes.
Usually it happens with the internal storage.
    287518_fb04.thumb.jpg

We can reboot the device several ways including Power Off.
    287518_fb05.thumb.jpg

Under Advanced there is a file manager which can be used to copy , move or delete files .
