Got the wiping issue.
You need to go onto wipe tab.
It says factory reset.

But if I want to wipe dalvik cache or simple cache. Go to advance and select cache and dalvick cache to wipe and swipe the slider.

Tried the build 2 it boots fine.
Now I see the brightness slider I can even move the slider to 0 to 100 but the brightness is @ 100 % only no change in brightness.

Found a strange issue.
In the normal system, can you do this in terminal emulator? and see if it changes brightness
Code:
echo 132 > "/sys/devices/platform/leds-mt65xx/lcd-backlight/brightness"

did the build (the testing one) is different from final product which on the main page ? i am telling this because i can't flash any rom from it although rom install but did not boot !
that rom is used to boot by flashing by any other twrp recovery or even from cwm ! is there any problem with twrp 2.5.0.0 ?

Try flashing the stock rom using the SP Tool that may solve the issue.

I heard somewhere varun saying that the kernel for booting the recovery and booting the system can be different.
That's the reason why the new build 2 of twrp was based on thunderzap kernel.

The first twrp was built on when we were on Ics.

And when the second jelly bean came out it has some hardware changes.

Might me because of the old kernel your touch isn't working in twrp
