However, it is not enough stable. The system reboot quite often, for no reason.
I found that using too high a frequency all the time caused a lot of reboots, reflash your kernel (maybe try a lower frequency) and then continue use but consider using profiles to turn the CPU down when it's only music playing or the screen is off etc. We can really underclock this device pretty well and its very safe for us, unlike certain Samsung devices, and you'll even save a ton of battery

From the boot.img kernels, I used the one with the lowest freq (767?).
Since a few days I use the stock rom (I have removed all the junk) with prometheus kernel. It's stable and smooth.

My device can handle the high over clocks, however, not all devices are the same in terms on over clocking.
Look at Intel CPUs for example, but thus applies to every CPU.

Go to settings, apps, all apps select adw and select clear defaults.. Then press home
well, in fact, there is no 'trebuchet' app at all in 'all apps'.
i have installed revmod 3.5, just the default, without any tweak.
You said you wanted to set trebuchet as default so surely you must have installed trebuchet, right?
Which launcher are you using now?

If you ever want to change launchers, go to the name of the launcher you are using right now, clear defaults, press home button. It will ask you to choose a launcher from a list, choose the one you want. There will also be an option to set it as the default launcher. If you don't select that option, it will ask you everytime you press the home button..

Russel, thanks for your great work. I have a very OC intolerant Desire C, and just installed this rom after full wipe, and another full wipe through Aroma. Most of the time I can't even unlock my simcard, sometimes I can but it's bound to crash. I had to reboot about 20 times until I got it up long enough to download incredicontrol (Now I come to think of it I could have used ADB to install it).
I've heard more people with 'bad' overclockable cpu's. Why not keep the default speed to 600 or maybe just a little bit above and maybe include Incredicontrol or another OC tool through Aroma? FOr me it was almost a showstopper as I just couldn't keep it up long enough to set it back tp 600 again. It's now stable as a rock by the way

What kernel were you using ? If the phone is unstable (like u described) then flash lower clock speed. Also Nikhil ( dev of Prometheus kernel) will be making multi frequency kernels in the future. Which will be set to 600 at default but be up scaleable

Just the kernel that comes with the download. It was clocked at... 800 I guess? I'll try with another kernel as now when it boots its still at 800 I guess until Incredicontrol pops in. Thanks for your help!
Another issue I have is that wifi seems to keep on when screen is of (atleast looking at my router) but no Whatsapp / mail messages come in until I switch on screen. I verified the advanced wifi settings but it's set to always on. Anyone else with this issue?

Is it possible to disable the rotating screen effect when for example going to system settings from the homescreen? I already installed Nova launcher and configured it (I don't like ADW) but that rotating screen doesn't seem to come from the launcher. Is there any way to disable or change that?

Go to settings, developer options, uncheck show animations.
Or change window animation scale and transition animation scale to 0.
This rom is good like others by russell just noticed two bugs(i installed the build with apn fix)

Those with data issue or are not sure about it...
If it is your first time installing this Rom, and are not sure about your data working install the APN patched version just below here:

- HTC setup is re introduced on this version, remember there are two versions now, one with the APN fix which requires a patch after setup, and another without the fix, which works fine for alot of people too
Now before you guys ask, the Patch to revert the Rom back to AOSP will be uploaded soon, but do not apply the patch UNITL you are FULLY setup with DATA working, to ensure no further problems. I am highlighting the main words in Capitals, because if you don't do this data will have issues.

Well first of all are you sure you have a HTC Desire C? If you are certain you do, then proceed with the steps below...
First Download the Rom from the link provided above...
Once that is done, copy the zip file to your phones SD Card
Now this step isn't a must, but if you want your WIFI to work, you need to flash a boot.img, you can see how to do this below:
There are two ways you can do this, if you want to do it in very simple steps, use the boot.img flashing tool located here: Link
However if you wish to know the commands required to flash the boot.img, follow these simple steps just below here:
Code:Fastboot flash boot boot.imgCode:fastboot erase cacheCode:fastboot reboot- Once you have flashed your boot.img, reboot into your recovery and flash the Rom, by using the "flash zip" option
- Enjoy your new ReVoluTioNMoD Rom

- No caller ID, this is due to the AOSP dialer, once the call screen is ported it will fix this issue. Squashed Now, suck it!
ReVolution Statistics
I bet your wondering, why a revolution stats app? Well there is a valid reason, it is based on CM sources and sends exactly the same data CM does, so what does it send?
Device hash: which is an MD5 hash of the IMEI (or wifi MAC, if imei is unavailable for some reason)
Device name: the property "ro.product.model" of build.prop
Device version: the property "ro.build.display.id" of build.prop
Country: from the Android API, getNetworkCountryIso
Carrier: from the Android API, getNetworkOperatorName
Carier ID: from the Android API, getNetworkOperator
ROM Name: from the newly added property "ro.romstats.name"
ROM version: from the newly added property "ro.romstats.version"
in addition to this data, the database has an extra 2 columns:
First registration date: the first time the device registered on the server
Last check-in date: the last time the device (with same device hash) checked in, to remove inactive devices after X days

The ap has been changed to suit the revolution rom series, as you can see there is no personal information being sent at all. You have a choice to opt-in or out it would be nice to have as many users as possible opting in, as the information will make the revolution rom series a whole lot better.14Credits!
