Not sure how all this Voodoo magic works but is there a way you could show me how this IRS looks on the graph please? http://db.tt/IhIy7pfN

You mean the frequency response graph?
About 7.5dB of boost is recording in the irs centred around 120Hz. Note that this IRS was recorded rather hot and may clip (distort) if the Gain setting (2nd from the bottom of the V4A menu) is not set to some negative value
Yes, excellent, thats what i have to do, set negative gain.
Its my favourite sounding IRS on Soundmagic e10 but its got too much somewhere and i needed to see where, because i couldn't accurately tell where it was.
Would you be able to flatten that "hump" by about 5dB, i still want the lowest bass at same level though.
Please?

Any suggestion as to how much to attenuate based on your impulse files?About 7.5dB of boost is recording in the irs centred around 120Hz. Note that this IRS was recorded rather hot and may clip (distort) if the Gain setting (2nd from the bottom of the V4A menu) is not set to some negative value

I am currently doing a -6dB on output gain, maybe its a little on the low side. The soft limiter on the output sounds pretty good even if you drive it a bit, and attenuating with the playback gain control seems to be another option. I believe if max gain is set to 1x the agc should behave like an attenuator.

Really loving the Koss PortaPro profile right now, sounds like another set of cans!
Anything for my no.1 supporter and donor

Cheers mate!
Edit, can't test at minute but its in .wav not irs, does that matter?

That open up a world of possibilities
It is simpler with Reaper than with Electri-Q!
Instead of clicking on a graph, do you know if there is a way to load a spectra from a text file (with column 1: Hz; column 2: dB) in one of the plugin a Audacity ?
Not that I know of... but before that, do you know of any review site that publishes frequency response in table format?
Can you make a file for Sony MDR 1Rs? Here are the graphs:

Thanks!
I try to set the level of my irs presets intelligently so that 0dB gain would not clip with most program material. If the highest part of the EQ is in the bass I strictly enforce the below 0 dB rule for the EQ graph; if the highest part is in the treble I let it peek through the top a little as program material seldom saturates with treble energy.
Glad you like it :highfive:
I quote my own post, lol

Hi, first of all, thanks for your headphone correction filters for V4A!! Do you think it would be possible to make one for the Sennheiser MM60? It's basically the same as the Sennheiser PX100, but with an added microphone, so it should follow the same frequency response. In my opinion they have a good punchy bass, but lacks some treble. Usually I configure my equalizer to add a little more bass (personal taste) and a fair amount of treble, reducing the freqs around 1k.

(it seems the PX100-II is not exactly the same as the PX100, but it may help)
Thanks!!
S4A-01. Will these get updated with a new piece of hardware? How's the bass? Does it have any punch?
