[ROM] LHero by Maxisma [2.1 - 13/SEP 12:40 UTC+2]

So, I release a new ROM again !
And this is the result: A fast, Cyanogen speed, and stable CM ROM with all the goodies from Hero, but not the resource hogs =)
It's based on Cyanogens experimental Donut.

-Added script to switch between Hero and Rogers transitions (animation when switching between apps) - "su" then "switchto_herotrans" in terminal or "switchto_rogtrans" for rogers transitions, you have to reboot for changes to take effect ;-)

-install_qwertz for easy switching to QWERTZ-layout

Maybe Haykuros SPL, Need someone who tells me if it works on HardSPL too.

I might not care about social networking stuff, but exchange was one of the things most important in Rogers rom

Is it enough to add mail.apk to get it back?

Grab the mail.apk from the mytouch, it's floating arround in this forum ;-)

I can take it from original Rogers or even HERO build and it will probably work. Question is if only thing removed was mail.apk or libs ?

You CAN'T take the Mail.apk from Rogers/Hero, I removed the neccesarry always in background running services ;-)
You have to use the one from the Mytouch ;-)

You can't get flash on a non-hero ROM, if that's what you're asking.

I was taking can't this Rom since maxisma said he didn't include the flash player. So I was wondering could I just install a flash player from any hero Rom?

LED is working like on Twisteds ZeroXD

And yes, it think you can install flash by pushing the browser.apk and browser.odex from zeroxdinto /system/sd/app_s

But.. why? This flash sucks and just shows advertises and uses cpu power.
Oh and it supports youtube, wow

adb push browser.odex /system/sd/app_s

Maxisma,

To save space you can also remove
/system/lib/libfl.so
/system/lib/libflashlite.so
/system/lib/libflashsnddec.so

and as you've also removed JBed.apk you can throw out /system/lib/libjbed.so
/system/lib/libjbmidp.so
/system/lib/libjbmidpdy.so

In total it would be over 8MB saved.

If touchinput force closes, did you wipe?
