It doesn't have a slideout keyboard. Device lasts for 1.5 days with heavy use for me. (Watching 1 hour video, which looks AWESOME mind I say, 2 hours of music listening and 1 hour of webbrowsing with 3g on all the time and some texting) Got to test one out for 3 days.

so how are we supposed to align the screen after a rom flash or hard reset? is that option now skipped automatically?

B3ler3fonte , for someone who is in a profession that gives them access to phones very early (in this case a HTC device) it seems very odd that you just joined up to xda devs in September 2009 (current month),

but never the less, I'm not doubting whether you have the device or not, if you do that's a good thing.

The HTC Leo has 1200mAh while my Hero has a 1350mAh capacity, its surprising that the Leo can go to 1.5 days with a 1GHz possessor and large 4.3" screen with the amount of usage you described. If that truly is the case, then that's really amazing.

The snapdragon chipset is less power consuming in itself then the last generation Quallcom chips, it isn't just a buffed up processor with a increase in megahertz count.

I find it funny that people are still thinking that there lies a QWERTY keyboard on a device that is 11mm thin. At some point, you gotta question how ignorant those people are.

Phones with QWERTY keyboards are typically in the +15mm width range. Please drop the stupid question and ask something that is more relevant to the product at hand.

Some of those pictures you promised would be nice

Phone actually feels great holding it and i can say that despite its screen size, its weigh and size (meaning that its really thin) r great advantages.I am posting the pics for you to see (hope u will be able to have a better overview of its size) and for all those who keep on posting stupidities as classic non-belivers when it just can't fit inside their small mind, that actually someone is [email protected] testing devices b4 they r actually released globally.

I dunno if both u have a bad day or something, doupting that much if someone really owns something or not. To be honest, let me start by saying that i knew about xda devs for more that 2 yrs now through a close friend of mine who is WM app developer and post his here, but didn't join for the simplest reason that i didn't need anything.I did join when i needed some guidelines on how to flash Magic using a cooked Hero ROM and thanks to Amon_RA by pm's h guided me through perfectly. I am not here to persuade anybody, and to make things clear i don't owe to anybody explanations about either my profession or my purposes of joining xda. Why should i @ the end of the day ? If for u when somebody does join a forum or judging fro m the number of his posts , actually and automatically is a measure of competance or a god in ur eyes, keep that sense and "pleasure" for urselves.Thats totally n00bish.

I was an easy believer to believe that ppl might b interested to know for something that is abs confidential for long time now, refering to Leo as a long term project, instead of just letting ppl speculating about its specs or anything similar to this. But what is done is done. I am fed up.

When ppl can't simply understand what the hell the word confidentiality means, then the conversation is closed, once and for all. From now and on i will just discuss only with ppl who actually asked and took answers back without doupting and for the rest of u...just keep on seeing the below pics and wonder when the device will be finally out or not.

And btw what was asked about ist battery and its capacity accordingly, do let know that Leo is equipped with a 1,230 mAh battery, capable enough to hold on the device for like 1.5 days str8.Done.

And something else...Keep on doupting about pics originality now, instead of finally getting a life. Out and peace.

Hands on HTC Leo (exclusively on xda.devs)

B,

Thanks for the pictures. At least now I'm sure I don't want one. Lawl.

This phone is so huge it's borderline crying out for attention or trying to compensate for something else.

Geezus, look at how big it is compared to the Hero! I personally think that HTC is testing the waters with this phone and is seeing just how much people will pay for a big lcd panel. I don't get why people want a brick (I don't care how thin it is, it's still going to stretch THAT much of my pants). I want a phone.

Cheers.

I guess i need to buy a pair of bagy jeans to this phone

No, really.. The HD works fine in my pockets, and i think this one will to. Hope that HTC puts the capacitive stylus out as the Leo hits the market.
