Hi guys, I have a lumia 710 with a custom rom, and now I'm selling it, and I want to put the official ROM again, I found some tutorials showing how to do with navifirm 1.7 and with nokia care suite, but both give me errors when trying to connect to the server with the ROMs...

can someone please help?

only new navifirm+ 2.x working but you must pay donation to get full working

you can do all job without navifirm with NCS, just you must know Product Code to download right firmware

NCS download

After Nokia Suite installs, copy and replace the usergroupsconfiguration.cfg file to C:program Files (x86)NokiaNokia Care SuiteProduct Support Tool For Store 5.0 if you’re running a 64-bit version of Windows. Or C:program FilesNokiaNokia Care SuiteProduct Support Tool For Store 5.0 if on 32-bit.

1. Open Nokia Suite. And select ‘Product Support Tool For Store 5.0′
2. When prompted, select ‘CareSuite External’ then hit ‘Sign-in’ button.
3. From the Menu, select Tools, then ‘Firmware Download’
4. Now enter the product code of your device, hit ‘Check Online’ button, to check the latest firmware version of your product code.
5. Then ‘tick’ ‘Optional Content Files and ‘Download’ to save your firmware.
6. Wait a few minutes :) for your files to download
7. You may now manually flash your Nokia device with the firmware you just downloaded.
- Your firmware should be stored in the C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products folder of your hard drive.

Thanks! this method works fine!

But now I'm curious, the lumia 710 have lots of product codes, from different dealers, since I'm alreadly with a custom ROM, I can chose any product code I want, it just need to be the right RM-XXX firmware?

you can use any product code... just rename name of product code in downloaded files to match current product code on phone

I am in the UK and I have found the relevant software for my device; and downloaded it. How do I flash it though? Is there a key sequence I need to do on the phone to allow the phone to flash the software? My phone is rooted and running a custom rom, but I want to remove the root and return it to stock.

just use NCS described in post 2.

or you can try easier way with
