.FAQs

● How to reduce battery drain
- Use the included MIUI features in the Security app (located in "Power" and "Permissions")
- You can also use "Greenify" to freeze apps
- CPU governor and I/O scheduler and frequencies
Performance Control is included in the ROM, use it.

● ViPER4Android notes:
When you first start the app, it will ask to update drivers. Allow superuser request, reboot.
To get started with .irs profiles, install the pack in AROMA and look at the ViPER4Android thread
To select an .irs profile, make sure, "expert ui" is selected!

● WSM manager notes:
Open the app and install the framework files, allow superuser request, reboot. Now you can activate the MI-Tools plugin and tweak what you like.

● Do I need to reinstall the rom from scratch or can I update to vx.x?
Clean install is recommended to avoid any possible bugs.
This means you should select "Factory Reset" in AROMA installer.
You can restore your apps after the installation.

I am in Stock JB 6.2.A.1.100 Unlocked BL + Nemesis kernel 5.4

installation
● boot to CWM
● MAKE A FULL BACKUP! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS UP YOUR DEVICE!
● install custoMIUI.zip
● follow the installer carefully...
● after reboot, wait a couple of minutes before going through setup. The rom needs to settle down.

So I just copy the Zip file to Sdcard, reboot to recovery then install the zip right?

Yes

make a nandroid backup!
I do recommend you select to wipe /data in the installer.
You could try and dont wipe your data, not sure if it will work when coming from stock though...
but you could test it, thats why I wrote the big "TESTING" up there :highfive:

and you need to use the CM kernel because its based on cm10 if you read the OP ! (i guess)

only the 2 kernels included in the .zip will work with this rom.
MIUI needs a modified kernel to run, so no sliding and no nemesis.
Maybe if you ask the devs nicely, they will compile a MIUI enabled kernel for you

Just choose one one of the 2 kernels during install, I recommend percy's GNU kernel.

i turned off all vibrations and auto brightness
now rom is better
full hd video recording not work and i can't take a picture
camera not respond
wifi tethering is not work but usb tether works fine

not : when turn off all vibrations and auto brightness reboot your phone for more speed

@stothegee why don't use MIUI camera ?

These bugs are probably CM10 bugs, since CM10 wasn't stable at all for our device. @stothegee , maybe you might wanna try to use CM 10.1 from @percy_g2 as base, since it's much more stable (perfomance and battery wise too) than CM10 from @FXP

Are you telling us to flash over cm10.1 or are you telling the dev to make it the base?!

Really good Rom, has Multilang, but for me in Spanish was laggy, I prefer leave it in english... Even like that is a little laggy..!
But no FC's at all, and everything works really really good!
