Hello!

I'm using this unofficial CM10.2 on my Nexus 7 2nd LTE device.
I've tried your Tablet UI mods, but after the flash, my device stuck into a bootloop.

Can you make a working UI for this ROM?

Thanks!

Im currently in the latest nightly unofficial for the Nexus 7 LTE and i flashed the update-tabletUI-20130921.zip from the link above but it just gets stuck in the Cyanogenmod logo. If i flash the later ones, the UI works but i lose the Mobile Networks settings and i dont have radio signal, just wifi. Any ideas?

Hi mmikeee,
could you make an update for the latest LTE Nightly from here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2459431 ? That would be just great! Or could you post a patch that I could apply to the decompiled jar/apks? I applied a patch from the stock FLO version to the DEB stock ROM but there are too many things missing in the stock version.

BTW: Unfortunately some of the same things as described in the TabletUI MOD thread also here apply. See here: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=46374825&postcount=75

Hi,
thanks for the update. It works just fine!

However there is still an issue I already reported in the other thread:
The size of the home screen panel (the area where you can place widgets and icons that is visible as faint blue rectangle when you swipe sideways over the home screen, see picture 2) is too big for the screen! Thus it is possible to place an icon on the far left and far right side of the screen that is hardly visible in landscape mode (see picture 1 on the left side) and not visible in portrait mode. The problem is, if it is not visible you can not drag it around but you will always see it when you swipe through the panels of your home screen. On the bottom and top side it also overlaps with the search bar favorites tray.
I had a look into the patch for the stock rom but I have no idea where to change the virtual size of the homescreen. I think somebody with a better knowledge about this should have a look into this.

Another issue I just found is that the lockscreen does not rotate. I am not sure if it did with the classical UI but with the mod I always have to unlock in portrait mode. A little bit annoying but all in all I like it so I will keep it.

the lockscreen rotation should be an easy fix; I'll take a look into it. Unfortunately, I don't have the LTE version so I can't really test out if I can fix that homescreen problem. Do you still get that problem if you use another launcher? Like apex or nova?

If I can help with testing variables that only need apktool to recompile I would be happy.
I just tested Apex and Nova Launcher and they both don't have the size problem. At the moment I will stick to the Nova launcher.

It stayed on a bootloop lol But it's my bad I think, I went all noob on this one and forgot that I'm using the kangs version of CM. The one with the bunch of features and navbar sizes, so I take this is not compatible with that ROM. I got to admit, tablet ui on CM it's a pretty interesting combination, thanks!
oh yeah i used the official nightlies not one of the kangs. I'm sure the kang'd versions have modded framework and systemuis already so it probably conflicts

Im on the 8/19 nightly too and had the same issue...reverted back to 8/14 and it worked again. Also, that nav bar is a little too small for my big fingers.

Dev: Could you possibly create a slightly larger one for the non tablet ui? I can't recall what stock is but an in between would be perfect. Or if you have brief instructions on modifying it myself I will...

Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
yeah i'll make a 40dpi for you. stock is 48dpi. I'm also rebuilding the tabletui mod using 8/19 nightly. are you having the same volume problem for the non tablet ui?

EDIT: check OP post for the updated non tablet ui navbars. I'll try to get to tabletui tonight/tomorrow
