So, I was coming from CM10.2. Bit to CWM, factory reset, install latest nightly, install gapps. Reboot.
No data, no cell connection at all.
Did it twice before nandroiding back to 10.2.
What am I don't wrong?

OK, more info. I was coming from Cm10.2, as I said. VRAMC3 baseband. I jumped back to Beans22 to verify things work (it's my go to TW ROM). Everything is great.
CWM, wipe, install CM11, gapps, wipe.
Reboot, no data. I look in Settings->About Phone, and lo and behold, Baseband version is "Unknown". That seems like a problem.
Anybody seen that?

I'm sure its been asked, and I did read a few posts back as well as a thread search...
Under display the "cast screen" option... One would think its for chromecast, however it does not detect any of my chromecasts and a Google search really only pulls a new app from Koush for screen casting (aka recording the screen) anyone have any insight as to what it is?

Had the same issue with cellular connectivity after upgrading to CM11. Figured I'd give stock 4.3 a test drive and stumbled upon the "firmware package" listed in the OP linked below. After flashing....for whatever reason....CM11 has working cellular and data on my phone now. I'm no Dev, so this could have been dumb luck, but it seemed to resolve my issue.

As far as I know, that's the CM implementation of Koush's AllCast app. It doesn't currently support Chromecast, but hopefully will soon with Google opening the restrictions on the Chromecast recently. Right now I think it supports AirPlay and casting to some Roku devices and Xbox possibly. There's a Google+ community for AllCast if you want to check in on progress.
Maybe check md5's? I'll be watching for responses as I want some kitkat action myself
Anyone else having issues with widgets disappearing after reboots on this Rom?
I'm actually developing a widget and while testing, I was starting to go crazy trying to figure out why it was disappearing after a reboot. Then I started to notice other widgets would disappear as well. So I even download a well known widget (HD Widgets) from Google Play and it's doing the same thing. So at this point I figure it has to be in the Rom. Heck who knows, its possible I coulda borked something else up

Of course I have had my wallpaper changing after reboots often. I have noticed that it only happens if I have multiple wallpapers in my gallery.....

On phone calls it seems to half work, works when people call but when I dial out is where it gets sketchy. Sometimes the sensores will work then others the phone will just go blank and nothing will work to get it back on until a min or so of slamming buttons. (12/16 fresh install) stock. On a side note, battery idle drain seems to be good when sleeping but when it isn't android system is like 40% of my battery causing high battery drain, I had to reboot 6 times yesterday to fix it but in the end I have andriod system (keep awake almost 6.5 hours!) That is way to high. The main one I see under better battery stat is "mdm_hsic_pm0" whatever that is, its causing the problem, anyone know what this is? Also, I have uninstalled (deleted) cLock and I can still see it under better battery stats as a resource pulling, whats up with that? Other then that, everything is running smoothly.

I only have 3 widgets on my screen (3 Home Screens using Apex) and haven't seen any widgets disappearing. I have wallpaper trouble in the past, but it seems to be fixed since the 12/14 build, seems more stable.
