After installing CyanogenMod and reverting to a stock rom (Froyo B136/138), everything except GPS is working (no satellites found).
Editing gps.conf and rebooting does not help. For some reason, restoring original CWM backup causes bootloop (kernel/baseband issue?).
CWM backup contains:
.android_secure
boot
cache
data
system
Phone details:
Phone:
u8800
Android version:
2.2.1
Baseband version:
129005
Kernel version:
2.6.32.9-perf
android@localhost #1
Build number:
U8800V100R001C00B136
Any ideas? Does updating to another stock rom from dload folder update the baseband & kernel?
