My N7 now takes over 8 hours to charge. It doesn't matter whether I'm running stock or custom kernels/ROMS. Once charged my battery still works good as new. The only thing I can think of is my charger isn't no longer putting out the proper current. Any other ideas?

Charger and/or wire.
Explanation for the wire part:
Laws of physics , the thicker the wire the more the current. Recently I was interested in knowing how much input my phone was getting from the charger , so I started testing it out. I used 2 wires , one which was the standard charging cable and one which was short and thick. I have a 2 amp output charger. To my surprise , the thin cable gave me current of around 900mah while the thick one was able to deliver current up to 1800mah. So yeah that may also do the difference.

Thanks. I'm gonna try a different (non-Nexus) charger and see what happens.

Thumbs down Is Nexus 7 is better in case of battery as compared to Nokia Lumia 920
Well battery back is very important

In case of Nokia Lumia 920 i get good battery backup , takes few hours for charging.

Friends atleast once you should use Nokia Lumia 920
