I have a rooted (using ROOT13) Kindle Fire HD 7 with Magic Locker installed. However, when I switch on the device I still always get the Amazon lockscreen. Can anyone please tell me how to ensure I always get my own lockscreen when I first switch on the device. Once it is on, if I quickly press the power button so the screen goes blank and then press the power button again, I then get my own lockscreen with password. But this is what I want when I switch on the device. Hope someone can help. Thanks very much.

Hope this is the right forum to post.

Some lockers (ex. widgetlocker) have an option for bypassing the default locker. Don't know if magic locker has something like this.

So an app called Homebase actually worked as the default Lockscreen. However it's clearly designed for a phone and is just horrible for use in the HDX. So it is possible but it's about finding one that works seamlessly with the HDX.
