Hi, a friend of mine just bought a sim-locked Lumia 820 from a guy in the UK (we're from Italy, he knows that it was sim-locked, don't ask me why he did it). It's locked by O2 and, as far as I know, it's impossible to unlock it without being the original owner with the O2 SIM and then asking the support to unlock it. However, he went to a tech store and they said that they can unlock it (by paying money obviously)... I told him that I don't think they can do it, but I'm not sure now... what do you think? Are there any other methods to unlock it, maybe free?
