I have a strange problem here with my G2 D802. While charging the CPU only spends about 65% in deep sleep and 35% on lowest set frequency, 300 MHz in my case. Does anybody have a clue what the problem might be? When I unplug the charger and the screen is turned off I have 100% deep sleep.
I'm running LG stock ROM rooted with dorimanx kernel but I had this problem before with stock kernel and before rooting.

I guess it does, why should system monitor show wrong values? It shows about 65% deep sleep while charging. My nexus 5, however, was 100% in deep sleep when it was plugged in.

I can confirm that, my phones has only about 50-60% Deep Sleep in the night, the other half it spends doing something on 300 MHz.
According to the app "System Monitor"
