I've noticed that my wifi tends to have problems in certain locations, so when I finally went to diagnose it using my Nook HD+, I noticed that some important information is not being reported through the Android API by the HD+.

Is there any way to fix these, or are they driver related or what?

The BSSID (WAP's mac address) is all 0's - 00:00:00:00:00:00
No channel/frequency shown.

I use the mac address to do fcc lookups to see what type of hardware I'm connecting to, since not all wifi hardware plays nice with various security settings.

If I do a site scan for what AP's are in the area, I'd like to know that the one I'm connected to isn't on an 'auto changing' channel, or trying to talk over another AP on the same channel nearby.

As a sidenote: these symptoms appear in 2 different ROMS I've put on the HD+, Carbon Unofficial B11 and SlimBean Unofficial (4.3 b1.2). I have not tested this on the stock rom, as I have no desire to be exposed to that B&N atrocity any more.
