I have few questions about NV items list.

  1. How can i write the inactive items.
  2. No 2824 "Device Serial Number" is it where the device serial number is written(About phone/Status/Serial number).
  3. Can i write the Hw version and rf cal date of the device with nvitems.

I am asking this because my device

Rf cal date is not written
Hw version is showing not acti
and serial number changes to strange numbers when i install a custom rom like CM 11 but its fine no stock firmwares.

I did got the rf cal date (571) and device serial number the nv items of my phone but both the nvitem are showing ''Inactive item''.

My device

Droid Maxx unlock

Perhaps now I am on the right thread.

The Droid Maxx and the Droid Ultra are GSM locked till someone activates the device first on Verizon network in the US.
As a result, you cannot use this device if it is brand new, never activated and switched on outside the US.

This is what I have gathered so far after interacting with chaps at Motorola and Verizon.

More so, employee editions have been reported to have more restrictions.

Now, the NV hack which worked for Razr HD talks about flipping a 01 to 00 at location 8322.
This one is already on 00 on the Droid Maxx.

I have so far got Radio Comm installed and working fine on my Windows 7 64 bit.

What tool is best to take a backup of the NV values before I edit anything?

No 2g signal

I have brand new Oneplus One.My problem is that i cannot get 2g signal.I flashed many modems, roms, unlocked the bands , i tried *#*#4636#*#*.But no success.I know that i have full 2g reception in my area but my mobile cannot find it,i have 3g signal by the way.I flashed color os 2.0.14 and took gsm only from *#*#4636#*#*,it finds the 2g signal couples of seconds then gone again.I think my modem bans the 2g signal somehow. Is that possible to activate 2g signal by using these codes?Your help will be highly appreciated.

anyone know how to hack the verizon note 2 to get t-mobile lte band added to it

Depends if the hardware configuration supports those additional bands.

The general procedure is described in the thread quoted below.

does anyone know what does values inside this item 6828 mean? depends on the value I found out that it only camps on to the certain LTE band. but I don't know what does value like16779290 are composed of. if anyone knows, or where I can find the meanings of the values here greatly appreciated.

You will find some info on that here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2948822

3g data in Samsung sch-830c help!

I got Samsung sch-830c from eBay. I flashed it to a new network. But when I tried nam programming to enable 3g data it didn't work at all. If anyone knows anything that might help, please let me know. I posted this in this thread because I think the problem can be solved using NV items. If so, which items can help me and can anyone flash the complete list without bricking my phone.
Thanks in advance :) :)

Complete list of Qualcomm NV items

From what I've seen, no NV item list is as complete or up to date(yet already outdated ;) ). Qualcomm likes to scatter their info around. Most NV dumps from devices are incomplete due to outdated tools or simply just not support by the device. This list is all of them.. nothing skipped. Along with the NV item numbers are a short description of the item as well as its category. These categories are named by Qualcomm... specifically in the QXDM application. I thought it would help to not only have a complete list but to have them sorted as well.. much easier to look through.

Now you may be saying... "So what, I have QPST/QXDM and I can see all the NV items." Well for starters, the last version of QXDM/QPST to be leaked publicly is going on almost 2 years old. Not that those versions are unusable but they are missing additional NV items and supported chipsets. This list gets everything up to date and out in the open. This list also sorts NV items into categories for easy navigation. This will help on NV-related projects, for example getting WCDMA working on the Verizon Galaxy S III. That thread and the issues we've had with identifying NV items/categories have inspired me to put this info together.

NV Items include: 0000 - 7232 and 65337 - 70282
If you have an NV item newer than 7232 or 70212 please share any details.
NV Item Number, NV Description and any possible category numbers associated with it.

NV Categories with " * " are listed by QXDM but have no NV items which fall under them yet.

Hi All,

I was able to flash IMEI for SIM1 using QPST, by writing to NV_UE_IMEI_I tag. However, I am not able to find the tag for SIM2.

Could anyone guide me which tag can be used for SIM2?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have 2 routers based on qualcomm MDM 9607.
They have NV items also in the range 8000-8016.
Also, NVITEM 16 and NVITEM 17 contain 2 12 digits numbers in ascii.
The numbers are different between the two routers and one of them is just a few numbers higher than the other.
So I think item 16 is a serial number but the item 17 is present on one device and not present on the other.

Also: i have 2 of these routers and in one I can see my own number in the web interface and in the other I can't.
They have the same software.
Same sim card.
So I suspect some nv item might be responsible.
Any ideas?

Also.. an important question:
with diag command 0x26 is possible to read an nvitem and with 0x27 to write.
How to DELETE an nvitem?
Writing 00s in an nvitem is not the same as deleting one.
I remember there was a way...

All of these IDs can be seen by opening QXDM. What is the point of these lists? The most important thing is missing - the description of the ID values.
